I think you are making the bomb bigger deal than it really was, [sp]it was the usual mutually assured destruction by nukes, however nowhere in the series is it really implied, referenced, or said what caused quarter of the earth get obliterated. Even if every single nuke were taken from Cold War and put in one spot on Earth, it still would lack the energy to cause significant part of the planet to crack.[/sp] [editline]15th November 2012[/editline] However, I am pretty sure that somewhere in the future, this subject will be explored some way or another.
The huge chunk missing from the planet could possibly be from something like Flame Princess burning too hot
such a great episode
SAMMICHES SOLVE EVERYTHING
The huge chunk missing from the planet could possibly be from something like Flame Princess burning too hot
Kind of unlikely, since then the hole would lead to the core, wouldn't it?
I kind of wish they did/do an episode involving the missing chunk. Like going in it or something.
Kind of unlikely, since then the hole would lead to the core, wouldn't it?
I also don't think Flame Princess is that old either, although with the show's weird take on people being a certain age who can tell. Pretty sure it's just from the great mushroom war, before the mutation bomb fell.

So I read on Bogleech's blog that some people are trying to get Marcy/PB as an official couple.
how about you guys stop thinking too hard into it there's a big crater in the earth because there were bombs and a big war that's literally all there is to it
like i said before, the show isn't hard to understand because the writers lay it all down for you.
I don't know why people think about this shit so much it's a kid show treat it like one
its kinda gone beyond a kid's show now, lol. their target audience is mostly teens and young adults now.
I don't know about that [editline]16th November 2012[/editline] if that was true it would be on adult swim or someting
I don't know about that [editline]16th November 2012[/editline] if that was true it would be on adult swim or someting
Most of AS's audience don't like cartoons very much unless they're filled with gore and curses (see superjail, family guy, american dad, squidbillies) The only exception would be King of the Hill. And just because it's not targeted for 5-7 year olds doesn't mean it instantly has to go to Adult Swim. So what if we look deeper into the story?
lol what. shows that are on AS are mature in humor and are blatant about it. AT is like any regular cartoon with tons of innuendos placed for kids but we can obviously find them. plus if you want to tell me that a group of kids are going to understand the whole idea about there being alternate universes (let alone keep up with the continuous story of AT) I'd say it's silly. comic con is filled with Finn's, Marci's, and PB's now a days.
Should be a paper-thin cutout, not a plush :v:
But then you would get papercuts if you tried to hug it and squeeze it. [sp]come on, who wouldn't[/sp]
I don't know about that [editline]16th November 2012[/editline] if that was true it would be on adult swim or someting
Regular Show and Adventure Time were originally slated for adult swim.
Speaking of regular show, and this is probably a late statement... All the humans in alternate-Earth looked like they belonged in Regular Show. The art design was eerily similar.
its kinda gone beyond a kid's show now, lol. their target audience is mostly teens and young adults now.
It's still for kids As in, it is still written with the mindset that small children must be able to enjoy it. Sure it's got a bit more backstory to it now but at it's heart, it's still a children's show.

Its interesting, when you think about it.
[img_thumb]http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdimq1ITGt1r25y24o1_1280.jpg[/img_thumb]
I hope we see this guy again.
I hope we see this guy again.
Hopefully an episode where Jake gets him a girlfriend. Specifically Breakfast Princess. Toast Princess can take full rule of the Breakfast Kingdom in her absence. Two plot threads started in one: Prismo and BP having issues over meal co-ordination, and Toast Princess being unable to handle the stress of running the most important meal of the day without her sister.
I've always been curious to who actually fired the bombs? but since it's a show intended for children I doubt they're going to go much into why the nuclear war happened, would be kinda out of place too.

It just matters that it happened.
