Im good now, I didnt take any pics. Its not my usual thing to bring a camera to a gig.
Sad times indeed. We stayed in the local travel lodge jesus the area is dead on a sunday we found a pub £2.50 a pint which we were amazed at.
We got to the place and it was dead out side, got inside absolutely rammed I couldn't believe it.
Yea opening act was dire swiftly moving onto death grips opened with GUILLOTINE I didnt think they would but it happened place went ape shit. From then on its a massive blurr of Exmillitary.
Lasted about 1 hour 15/ 20 ish. Mates wernt to happy about that thinking it would have been longer but we went off to the pub to get destroyed after so it made them happy :D
Sounds alot better live + atmosphere= awesome night

Jesus not room was packed stage wasnt exactly big I could have punched zach if Id of wanted to lolol. Im not sure how many id say a few 100 place could hold 800 with all its "rooms" open we were in the main room as such so id say half the max capacity 400. Next time then ill make the effort and bring a camera to my next few gigs.

woah shit, Saul Williams just posted full moon on his facebook page, I got a massive nostalgia boner from when I first heard that, it was the first DG song I heard. I just remember the feeling I got in my chest when I heard it, I felt like fighting off a group of police officers and fucking someone at the same time
I remember the first time I heard DG.
I was like "wtf is this shit" and turned it off because I expected it to be a metal album.
Second listen I had I knew what the expect, so I enjoyed it far more.
The first time I heard it, I heard Charles Manson's voice and I knew it would be truly awesome.
In a move I can only describe as fucking retarded, I assumed this was some sort of metal band I really just wouldn't appreciate so never figured it might be worth checking it out. Only finally bothered to find out if it actually was today holy shit I'm stupid.
Wish I did it like six months ago cause good god does Exmilitary seem good so far.
There's no point jumping to conclusions with this project.
Just know that it's "Really loud and polarising".

Oh yeah, if I knew at least a little about what it was, I definitely wouldn't have jumped to any conclusions. For some reason, whenever I glanced at the title "Death Grips (It Goes It Goes It Goes It Goes....GUILLLOTIIIIINE.....Yahhh)" it struck up the image in my head of a lank haired twenty something year old pale man squatting down with a very pointy guitar hanging near the ground yelling some sort of metal so I was like I probably won't buy into this and just didn't check out the thread.
Like I said, poor call on my part.
1st time I listened to this my dad walked in and was like what is this. I felt like saying something we will never understand but just shut the door on him.
Showed my dad these guys, he loves how they used samples from some of the punk bands from the scene he grew up in and played in.
I'll attempt to listen to them tomorrow. I've heard a lot of things about them, some good, some bad.
