And don't forget Childish Gambino.

Well it does confuse people since folk will say "that's what he ONLY looks for in music", I don't think it's his blueprint for a great record, he just thinks it's a flawless experience.
I don't like the Needle Drop guy.

I wonder when the new single will come out, I'm getting really impatient.
Can't wait for No Love either.
[quote]the album is titled NO LOVE DEEP WEB
we are working on 20 tracks and looking to narrow down to 13.
it will be released by epic records in the us and columbia in the uk.
the release is scheduled for fall 2012. most likely late october.
we are in correspondence with Crispin Glover and working toward a video collaboration with him relating to this album.
we've been recording the album primarily in sacramento , ca. and oakland , ca. for the past five months.
we will be mixing it in shanghai , china.
there are no manually programmed drums on this album ,
the beats are being played live on a roland electronic v-drum set or acoustic drum set by zach.
there are no features , guest collabs or outside producers.
the material is cold , bass heavy , minimal , rock & roll influenced and could simultaneously fit into a rave or dance club context.
it is essentially rap and electronic music while at times extremely aggressive.
we plan on supporting this release live internationally.
*the track that comes out sept.10 as part of the adult swim series is a previously unreleased track from the Money Store and is totally unrelated to the new album NO LOVE DEEP WEB.
NO LOVE DEEP WEB is another sound and vibe entirely.

Pretty sure a lot of bands cut tracks while they're in production.
Huh I am really looking forward to the new album. Their new vibe could totally be in my tastes. Hopefully it's not as batshit weird as their second album was.

No shit, but they dont often tell you how much material you wont be hearing for a while. (Assuming they release demo's)
So I was on /mu/ last night and there was a thread posting a few onion links and a picture of MC ride, someone downloaded it, from what I can tell what was inside it was a few photos, and a file that contained

There's the archived thread. This will make more sense if you read the thread, it's really hard to explain atm.
that zip was nothing but reaction images.
You lie!!
I wasn't there when it happened, I'm just going by what people are saying now.

Well most of the zip at least, but I got half way through it and it didn't look like there was anything in it but images.
Instrumentals of The Money Store were just released through some ARG on /mu/, sounding pretty neat.
at first I hated it and hated all of you guys for hyping this shit
but then I continued listening to more and more tracks
holy shit DG really grew on me. I love this. Currently listening to The Money Store, Lost Boys.
