Saw them last night, one of the best gigs I've ever been to, seriously. Kinda bummed about Flatlander not being there, but they put on an amazing show. They played a bunch of stuff off NLDW along with the more popular tracks from TMS and Exmilitary, and since Flatlander wasn't there for the improv stuff with Zach in between songs, they played for about an hour straight without stopping. Would love to see them again.

Gotta admit that I was surprised by Ride his speaking voice. Wasn't expecting that at all.

I just expected his voice to maybe be a little bit more rough or something, all the screaming he is doing has to do something to his voice.

I remember that the Spin "artist of the year" article described him as being a pretty soft-spoken and quiet guy, but that still came as a surprise.

was on /mu/ a few days ago, said flatlander up left, but he couldn't prove it. also someone from /mu/ emailed him and he said that he couldn't be on stage for certain...legal reasons iirc
