not to be negative but i've been listening to them since they dropped the ep and one of the reasons i kind of grew out of them was how all the dumb memey shit became pretty much quintessential in the fanbase/appreciating the band in general and it's so obnoxious
like they're an exciting band but jesus christ even the members themselves hate it

This "interview" is nuts. I wish I could hear the original track though. Wanna hear whatever MC Ride is throwing up out on that stage. This video is brilliant though, great way to make some hype and keep to their aesthetic.

My theory about the band is that they don't care at all if people think their music is "good" in the harmonic/popular sense, and they're going to continue putting out progressively more experimental music until most of their fan base evaporates
Jenny Death was more accessible than NOTM tho.
