SHORT SOB STORY TIME A long time ago, I was a typical Christian child, raised in fuckthisplacesucks, North Carolina. I'd been big on gaming since I was little because I honestly, had no kids on the street that I lived on. I fell in love with games and they were my "friend." I loved the PS2 and Gamecube, and I loved the gaming company, Pandemic. So, when I finally got a laptop for myself sometime later, and I was looking for Mercs 2 stuff, I stumbled upon the Pandemic Studio forums. There, my life began to change in a very small way. I got friends, I got people I could talk to and relate to. After this had been going on for God-knows how long I got a PS3. I added a ton of people from Pandemic who were at least people I thought were my friends. One of them is probably my one truest bro of online friends today. Anywho, it turned out a lot of the users disliked me because I was such an idiot kid. I made (and still make) straight A's, but to the internet I was all about emotes, stupid beliefs, etc. I decided to try my luck at youtubing, bad idea. The dudes from the group that disliked me joined in on a bunch of hating, bashing, namecalling, etc. And eventually I just broke down. This is when I realized that life sucks, people hate you, and life isn't going to be a walk in the grass. From this point on, me and the main instigator of the attacks on myself, are now friends. I began to get retrospective, because I realized that from 1960-1999 everything was pretty chill. Yes, we had 'Nam, and we had the Cold War and all that, but it was a time of...happiness? I became more...chill I guess. Previously I was completely against drugs and alcohol, now I just don't care. Back to the main story though. As some of you know, EA took over and shut old Pandy down. It was real cold-hearted the way they did it too, they forced one of the mods to claim he accidently pasted his trig. homework into something and got the forums to fuckup. It was said they'd be back up in a few days, eventually the site was shut down. Many of the old users like myself scattered to a second forum, called Pandemica where we still reside today. However, one of the users, who on here goes by Teal Moose, dropped the name of Facepunch multiple times. So I decided I'd check it out. Now, here I am, integrated into the dysfunctional family that is Facepunch, and I love every minute of it. Phew, sorry for that sobby story, but I felt it was needed here. :c
