But seriously. I just wear plain white NIKE's. Goes with everything, and if you keep 'em generally clean and white they look good too. Then I put on some plaid shorts of any colour ( since I pretty much have 'em in every colour :v: ) with a matching/good looking v-neck and I'm good to go..
Then I wear either my snapback or fitted hat + dgk shades.
It's not THAT hard to look good, really.
Thinking of getting this, that colour or sand

Already been posted, however I'll summarise: It started out as a way to ensure authenticity, ie. that you weren't wearing some shitty cheap bootleg (turning the hat into a status item rather than just a piece of clothing). However now it's transcended and it's just part of the look

ah thanks
I've got a pair of niceish looking shoes, but they tend to get my socks/feet wet when it's raining. Anyone got shoes that don't have this issue. I'm looking for something casual to wear on a day to the movies or so.

I've got skinny chinos. and I cuff them but not to that extent, just so they're not baggy around the ankles when I cycle.

I think they look alright but people would assume that I'm trying to be hip and cool etc. if I get a pair of chinos
stupid people

I like slim chinos, but damn people take it too far sometimes, especially with the cuffing.
boardshorts 4 lyfe
boardshorts are sexy
I don't like the boardshorts material
it keeps you cool and all but it doesn't feel nice against your skin and I don't feel secure in it

They're OK when done well but usually they're terrible.
I wish I could complain about converse...
Here the basic outift is running shoes, random unbranded jeans and a stained shirt from this store called aeropostale

I don't see the point of buying big brands, you can look just as good and spend less money if you put a little effort in
and plus you don't seem like a douche for flaunting your wealth
they're really comfy though
