I'd rather not. I'm smart enough to know when to keep my mouth shut. I'm a peacekeeper anyway, not a fighter.
I'm not afraid to sock a bitch in the face.

There's a difference between keeping your mouth shut and being a pushover.
I can barely lift 40 lbs.
It's a bit difficult.
True, but that's the point of weight lifting.
You start out doing what you can. I imagine after a while of lifting 10 pound weights it wouldn't be long before you could lift 60 or so.
It's just a slow build up.
I had a girlfriend a while ago who was pretty small (I think she was a size 0) she hated having to hear from people how she was so tiny, and had to shop for little kids clothes, just stupid stuff like that.
I think people just assume "fat" people are bothered by comments, but truth is a lot of people can be.

or girls dont give a shit about looking tough
Back in high school when on the football team there were two kids, one a freshman and the other a junior like me at the time, both being 300+ my friend and I chewed them about not working hard enough and being "fat lazy fucks" one got the message and is 200lbs of muscle, ripped as fuck now, I think he graduated this year. As for the other kid, I think he's nearing 400lbs now. Not my problem though.
That just seems unnecessary really, you were kind of being a cunt there.
That just seems unnecessary really, you were kind of being a cunt there.
I don't care, they were wasting out practice time sitting around. One of them shaped up and made a man of himself and he thanks me to this day for saying that to him. The other kind I knew for a few years already and he didn't take of himself at all, he didn't seem to care so I kicked his ass to get him to work harder but he wouldn't so I gave up on him.
Knowing I managed to get an obese kid who had issues with it to get himself into shape. Damn proud of him.

Yeah I was dick in high school so what?

What's the point in insulting people.
I actually regret insulting someone because now he's a great friend of mine.
What's the point in insulting people.
i heard that if you insult people you're instatly popular, funny and cool
i heard that if you insult people you're instatly popular, funny and cool
Wow you mean all my work put into becoming cool is for nothing just because some kids can fling words? That sucks.
i called my boss a bitchfaggot and now i'm in upper management maximizing profits yo

I don't mean to say that insulting is a good thing to do, I'm just saying keeping quiet isn't the best thing to do. In Pascall's case, he(she? idk) is being made fun of because of their apparent lack of weight. You don't have to be an ass and go "shut up fatass" and you don't have to be all quiet and just accepting of being made fun of. A good alternative is, well, to not feed into their desired response, which is to say something like "I'm perfectly content with my weight, thank you." Besides, fat people have less clothes to choose from. All skinnies up in this thread, because skinnies are the ones who (have the greatest potential to) look sharp.

"Give us a raise, loser!"
when he says "otter mode" he means skinny as shit

what the fuck
where the hell do you buy clothes?
I have like 2/3 pairs of jeans which I get from good sales which last me like a year or two or until I find another nice pair in a sale
and t shirts and other things are always relatively easy to find cheaply, especially at TK MAXX
also, people hatin on you shows that you're successful in some form or the other, not that they pity you or whatever, because they don't
also, people hatin on you shows that you're successful in some form or the other, not that they pity you or whatever, because they don't
As Eminem said, "You have enemies? Good. That means you stood up for something."
Being thin as hell ain't no picnic either. Especially when you have people telling you that you'll soon have to have tubes shoved down your throat to get food into your stomach.
Been there, done that.
I eat like crazy now and I still can't gain weight. Even when I focus on the necessary vitamins and all that mess that I need. I'm a measly 95 lbs. I'm fragile as fuck.
Shit sucks.
I know how you can avoid this: Always ask yourself "Am I eating right now" and if the answer is "no", start eating. It's quite simple really.
[editline]5th June 2011[/editline]
Well I don't want to bulk up.
I just don't want to be so close to anorexic.
You're not going to gain 100 kg of muscle by lifting a couple of weights 3 times a week. Why do so many girls think this?
Gaining muscle is really difficult.
Actually I eat a lot of fatty foods, but for some reason I remain incredibly skinny. It can't be good for me, so I'm going to try and shift to milk and oats.
How about eating real food?
i rather be skinny as fuck then obese, being fat is uncomfortable
I wouldn't say i'm obese but I do carry a little fat. It sucks when you're shopping for shit and they run out of your size.
I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted and I wouldn't get fat at all, I would remain healthy weight and healthy proportioned but like 3 years ago the fat started to build up on my tummy :smith:
my wrists are still really skinny, the rest of my body is fine, just my chest and tummy is a bit chubby
I'm gonna go to the gym this summer
I'm a bit fat too, but I've been working on it for the last 5 months. Fat people have no excuse to not to lose weight. Spend some time in the gym or even work out at home a few times a week and get a proper diet.

My arms are tanks now it feels good, just gotta work on the stomach area.
I'm doing something at the moment but it's mainly jogging.
I find jogging and running actually unpleasant
weight lifting and other stuff feels good when you do it, but for me jogging and running doesn't feel good at all and I feel like it damages me with no positive outcome

Obviously you're not going to run a 10k jog as soon as you start. As with all excersise you just need the right equipment and pacing. I enjoy it seeing as I have an urban forest close.
Jogging and running is best way to lose weight than weightlifting. I used to jog a fair bit and it's actually quite fun when you get used to it. I do admit that weightlifting feels good when doing it.

I used to do free weights but I CBA to go to the gym. I may just but a set anyway and do barbell curls.

It's great if you want to be skinnyfat.
It's great if you want to be skinnyfat.
skinnyfat?
It's great if you want to be skinnyfat.
You obv have to suplement jogging with other exercise to develop muscle if that's what you mean.
problem with weightlifting is that you build muscle mass, but you barely lose any of the fat, not nearly as fast as with jogging, or cardio overall. so thats probably better when you're fat. when you're skinny power training is the way to go.
I've already worked my arms to the point they are big, I just need to lose the stomach area and I'll be good.
Do you have the willpower to eat like an anorexic whore? If so, the stomach fat is easy to lose.
Do you have the willpower to eat like an anorexic whore? If so, the stomach fat is easy to lose.
I'd rather work for a slim, healthy body than a weak one.
