Odd question, but does skin count as a solid color underneath? I prefer to wear my button ups with either very very thin shirts underneath, or nothing at all.
Let's just say no. for me that is...
Just make sure you don't have an obscenely hairy chest.
Odd question, but does skin count as a solid color underneath? Just having skin doesn't work unless you are wearing a jacket over it.
Wait, if you're a plus size person, you might want to wear a shirt underneath. It helps to slender you up a bit. If you're thinner, going without won't hurt.
Nah. If you undo one button with a button-up it looks great with no undershirt. Although if the weather permits, a simple white crewneck underneath is generally the best-looking, in my experience.
If any girls browse this thread I wanna know something. How important on a scale of 1-10 is clothing? Not sharpness, or looks or anything, just clothing.
Does anyone here agree that purple button downs and green undershirts work together? It's been one of my staple outfits for a while and I've been wondering to build off of that a little.

Luckily I had the sense not to go out looking like I was wearing a slightly pink shirt with nipple circles on it.
Well I wouldn't want to date someone who walked around naked? Clothing itself is important, yes, because there needs to be some hint that the guy is willing to put thought and time into his appearance, not only to impress you, but to make a good overall impression to the public. There needs to be something that says "This guy knows how to take care of himself and he isn't a fat slob". Like that candy lab where you made gross shit and it was usually purple or green or some bright neon colour. Not saying I don't like it though. It depends on who's wearing it. [editline]12th June 2011[/editline]
Just make sure you don't have an obscenely hairy chest.
i'm 18 and the most i can grow is some patchy and thin neckbeard stubble. The rest of my body is pretty much completely void of hair besides my shins, lower arms, groin, pits, and head.

I picked up this shirt recently in the Apt. 9 section at Kohls. I'm loving it to death: http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/apt9/mens/graphictees/PRD~795562/Apt+9+76Hour+Shift+Tee.jsp#

[editline]12th June 2011[/editline] Also, I love almost everything at The Territory Ahead. http://www.territoryahead.com/ I got a couple nice button ups including that Hawaiian there.
That jacket is nice. I personally find leather jackets to be quite attractive. I'm just using photos I can find of me, sorry. [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] This is going back to the hair part. I prefer straight hair but I feel like you gotta have a smaller frame to pull it off. True or not?
I went to the mall and bought the shoes for $10 and the top for $14 I don't really like stone color, what color tops can I match it? But they look cool and they where a steal Blahblah brandwhore billboard, it's super comfy, it fits nice and the decal is nice. Thoughts?
Dark greys, whites, grey blues. Sticking to mostly greys and whites are your best choice. If they were JUST grey and white, you could match them with more, but the brown/orange color is kind of throwing me off.

The bottom one does look nice, however.
i hate leather jackets. but that's just me.
I think you have to have a fairly "man" look to you to wear a leather jacket well. Something I completely fail at achieving.
i hate leather jackets. but that's just me.
I agree, but there is actually one from UO that I really like. It's gray with a black hoodie sewn in. I bought it for $150, but the last time I saw it there, it was on sale for $80. My brother's friend got the exact one several days before me, and he pulls it off better than I do, so I'll use his picture for demonstration. i like to wear a nice dress shirt military style shirt(i mean with the buttons and what not, not an actually military shirt) opened up with a wife beater shirt underneath [editline]13th June 2011[/editline]
I agree, but there is actually one from UO that I really like. I find that the hat completes this little outfit. You guys may not like it but this hat speaks to me.
"BURN ME" [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] why are you wearing a tie clip
"BURN ME"
actually it asked for some grape kool-aid
but if you dip it in grape coolaid then it will be purple
but if you dip it in grape coolaid then it will be purple
it wants me to drink the kool-aid and it will somehow leach it from my body. turns out this hat is kinda like a symbiotic parasite. i now have a hat and it gets a little of my nutrients to survive [editline]12th June 2011[/editline]
"BURN ME" [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] why are you wearing a tie clip
because i got a tie clip because i didn't want to use a tie pin.
