Hey. I like fedoras. Are you calling me a humphrey fucking bogart? That's an insult that'll have to be settled man to fuckin' man, boy.
Wearing an actual fedora casually is a pretty bad idea. If you absolutely have to wear a fedora, dress up for it.
What's wrong with loose jeans? Other than nothing?
Loose jeans being uncomplimentary of the form and shape of the legs. I'm not telling you to wear skinny jeans, but wear jeans that are more form fitting. People DO notice.
Huh? Well, I guess... at a stretch, but I think they look kinda nice...
Trenchcoats are fun these days, but in no way fashionable. I have a military trenchcoat and I love it. Was very cheap, great construction, comfy removable woolen lining...
What, so we are supposed to read peoples' minds to tell what shirts they find obnoxious?
If you have a good cosmetic sense you should be able to tell what shirts you should generally wear or not wear.
Jeans? I'm not fucking wearing skinny jeans to please other people.
If you don't like the idea of skinny jeans, at least wear jeans that are slim fit or close to slim fit. It makes a really big difference. Baggy pants DO make you look fat.
You can go to hell with your shitty fashion tips.
While they can be mean and act like dicks, quite a bit of what they say is true. Whether or not you are going to follow their advice is up to you.
Frankly, I find that people who care so much about fashion and get so butthurt over it are usually pretty conceited and shallow.
You can't let yourself get worked up over a few guys over the internet saying what you wear is shit.
If people in REAL life that you personally know say they like it, and are sincere; then wear it.
It's your choice, not some random-guy-on-the-internet's choice
ALSO ANOTHER QUESTION. Is it important to be fashionable for me now (12 y/o), or should I just keep a little cache of a portion of the money I get until college/adulthood and buy some really nice, smart outfits (Chino-Blazer stuff)
keep your cash, when you're older it'll be a lot more important to make a nice first impression

While being fashionable for the sake of being cool is retarded; being fashionable and picking out things that you like and things that you think look good on you and compliment your features is important.
Not only for your appearance, but when someone wears a getup they like, they tend to be a bit happier.
Also, dressing in things that just cover you is a way to kill any visual appeal of confidence you may have. (Baggy t-shirt, baggy cargo shorts, clothes for the sake of wearing clothes, etc)
But at 12 this stuff doesn't really matter.
It'll start mattering once you're starting in high school.
I had crap fashion sense when I was 12 and I couldn't give a shit about it back then, neither did anyone else really. It doesn't matter at that age since you're still a "kid".

It's funny you say that. There's only one person in the entire state that can cut my hair good under 7 bucks. And she isn't black :v:
wtf, where's the waves. GET SOME WAVES.
That picture is about a month old. I have waves, but they don't really show when my hair is longer. I was going kinda for curls all over

Kinda like this but shorter.
Wow I hate living here in Edmonton. Everything I see on the net is at least increased by $20 retail, I cannot buy online.. Maybe It's because this city attracts a fair amount of tourists? I don't know, shit aint fair.
Also, should I consider buying new clothes? I have a lot but some of it is getting scruffy and bland. I will make list of the clothing I own if someone requests so they can answer my question. Thanks.

I didn't give two shits about fashion when I was twelve, my mom was definitely still buying my clothes.
On the topic of hair, is there much I can do with this?

My homeboy has hair just like that, he just got a fade cut pretty low, and it worked out nicely for him.
I recommend the Slim Fit Big Pony Polo cause they're heavily reduced right now:

Seriously try and go to an outlet store. You can get most things for about half the price and save alot of cash. Standard ralph lauren polos were £25 last time i went

Is it just me, or do their hats look horrible? My friends all swear by it, but the hats with "POLO" on the back look like they came out of a dollar store.

I love the shirt, but you could perhaps have worn darker jeans?
I love the shirt, but you could perhaps have worn darker jeans?
I thought of that, but i was going for the greyed out look.
How hard is it to rock earrings? They seem p. swag.

It's like that on most new vans. And it looks more prominent here because it's clean white. Once you scuff them round a bit it looks fine.
How hard is it to rock earrings? They seem p. swag.
Post a pic, earrings are supposed to give you a prettyboyish look, but the wrong face and build will make you look like a gigantic fag. Use extreme caution.

Am I the only one who like to keep his rubber white?
Am I the only one who like to keep his rubber white?
I feel you, after the white gets dingy on my chucks, unless I'm going for a specific look, they seem ugly and trashy.

I've been cutting my own hair for awhile now, I think I've got it down. How's it look?
Post a pic, earrings are supposed to give you a prettyboyish look, but the wrong face and build will make you look like a gigantic fag. Use extreme caution.
Yeah, I won't risk it. Right now, I still dress and look like a gigantic moron because I can't afford any new clothes, but once I get a job, I'll get my swag on and post a picture.

chucks never look good unless they've been trashed up a bit
It looks OK but I can't really see it that well.

Just improvise.

Can't the same be said about any pair of sneakers, though?
Can't the same be said about any pair of sneakers, though?
Nope. Especially running trainers, they look shit when dirty.
I also have a pair of Adidas Sambas and they looks about 50 times better clean.
Can't the same be said about any pair of sneakers, though?
What? Black running shoes look horrible trashed, as well as, well, anything that's not canvas.
i've seen so many ruined samba's that a part of me has started to think they sell like that.
Well, shit. I didn't mean trashed shoes, I just meant worn.
If you're naturally careless, avoid all or primarily suede shoes at any cost. I had a fresh pair of baselines not too long ago, went romping around in a drainage ditch/creek and they are permanently fucked.
