The fact that "jap" was used heavily and arguably originated in WWII propaganda does give it an unfriendly background, though it's generally not used with such an intent today. It's like calling a Native American "Indian"; it's considered politically incorrect because it was used a lot back when they were being forced out of their homeland (although it was arguably a progressive term at the time which it originated), but nobody uses it today with malicious intents. Also, Japanese is a nationality, not a race.
It's an ethnicity as well as a nationality.
OP is a winner
you know not all music from japan is horrible i mean susumu hirasawa is pretty boss so why is everybody fucking obsessing over this shitty program and it's generic fucking anime counterpart goddamn it, why does this always fucking happen, you give people a choice between something good and something shit and they always choose the shit one, fucking always
Vocaloid has made people famous by writing songs. For example the band "Super Cell" A Japanese garage band that was trying to get by with out a singer. When they discovered Vocaloid they almost instantly became famous. Here is one of their songs. Any one with lyrics can make a song, even choreograph the dance with the program MMD ( Miku Miku Dance) Video above uses MMD and uses a wide variety of Vocaloids as well.

What the fuck happened to just, you know, finding a fucking singer? They aren't hidden gems lost adrift between the fucking veils of time and space. They also don't sound like shit. And they can sing Stairway to Heaven without it sounding like they're doing so through a foot of gelatin.
Her pigtails are cyan, not fucking green.

Find me a good singer to. Also maybe if you searched for the right things? Instead of watching a JAPANESE VOCALOID BE FORCED TO SING IN ENGLISH How about look up a ACTUAL ENGLISH vocaloid?

A ACTUAL ENGLISH vocaloid.
Vocaloids are cool but pick a better one, Miku has an incredibly squeaky voice and can't speak English.

Or I could point to the many bands that it seems were able to find a singer. Which is most of the bands in existence. Yamaha, Crypton, PowerFX, ZeroG, Sony, INTERNET CO. LTD, AH-software. And
Miriam Stockley is a British professional singer and the voice provider for the Vocaloid Miriam. She is so far Zero-G's only known voice provider. She was born in 1962 in Johannesburg, South African Republic and cut her recording at the age of 11. Then she moved to Britain in her late teens and worked as a backing singer for famous singers including Tina Turner, Freddie Mercury and George Michael. In 1999 Miriam started her solo career and moved to the United States in 2001. According to Miriam, the reason why she lent her voice to Vocaloid was that she accepted that "you cannot fight progress". acapella vocaloid.
You can archive singers today, then when they die still produce music or keep it as a archive.
Take your japanimated shit and leave this place

That band I went to see last week at a bar with 50 people in it? Totally fucking loaded. And I don't know why you keep posting horrible fucking autotune abortions as proof that vocaloids are worth something. Japan is one of the only fucking countries that produces animation of any level of quality in the fucking world at this point, and just because their culture is fucked up in a way that is different to the way that our culture is fucked up you people think you can ignore everything they produce. Here's the skinny, Princess and the Frog was shit, Red Line kicked ass. End of fucking story. But yeah Miku is fucking generic and annoying and I don't see the appeal at all.
Were dropped as a baby? Or have anger issues? Your avatar is a great example to.
Yes. I were dropped as a baby. I is admitted it. But what's really hanging me up is who my avatar is a great example for, because I think James May should be an example for all people to follow.
