Don't laugh. My dad did philosophy at notts and he got a decent job as an IT person :v: then again that was the eighties
do you not think it was more the fact that he *had* a degree that helped him get the job rather than the subject he had the degree in? :P and what with degrees being worth so much less than they were 20/30 years ago i think anyone that studies philosophy to a degree level had better have a good job plan laid out 'cause i don't think it'll take you anywhere at all.
History at Plymouth University.
Going into my second year of Computer Science at Portsmouth. If there are any other Portsmouth goers here, PM me.
I was at Portsmouth but I dropped out and I'm trying again this year at UCS doing Computer Games Design :) Moved into my halls the other day and it's pretty nice also do you know Alex Comber? He's starting his second year on your course at Portsmouth this year :)
that is interesting! my bad
Then again, the next article on google says it might just be bad reporting possibly my bad Also, what kind of jobs do you think you could get with a degree in physics from a good university?
Hertfordshire to do 3D Games Art, I'm thinking about changing to Visual FX though. Apparently it's easy to change because all the modules are the same in the first year, or something
I'm doing computer science at herts. Didn't expect to find someone else going to to the same university here lol.
If facepunch represnted every student, we will have a generation of Video gaem makers
You're doing Computer Science at Manchester as well???
Nah, just computing at MMU

There's like over 10,000 students in total or something ridiculous.
Maths at Oxford, going into 2nd year.
Maths at Oxford, going into 2nd year.
OH MY GOD. Are you the guy from big brother? If you are then awesome. You were one of the best in there. If you aren't then sorry, there can't be many people called Andrew who are going into their second year of maths at oxford.
Maths at Oxford, going into 2nd year.
There's always one, damn highbrows. I'm heading north, Newcastle Uni.
I applied for Oxford I'm going to the open day but I'm worried about the formality of it

I do know the guy though since he's a friend of a friend.
I applied for Oxford I'm going to the open day but I'm worried about the formality of it
On friday? I'll see you there :v: (maybe) What subject are you applying for?
I'm starting Biological Sciences at UCL next year.
On friday? I'll see you there :v: (maybe) What subject are you applying for?
Physics :v: what about you? It's a three hour drive there for me :( [editline]10:10PM[/editline] yes friday btw
Doing Games Development at Anglia Ruskin - Chelmsford, but hopefully changing course to Computing.
Physics :v: what about you? It's a three hour drive there for me :( [editline]10:10PM[/editline] yes friday btw
Physics for me too! :D Man! Awesome! I can't drive yet, gotta take a train... I would advise you to take a train too unless you know Oxford because the parking and general driving is pretty difficult all around.
Physics for me too! :D Man! Awesome! I can't drive yet, gotta take a train... I feel like I'll be the only non poshy there though D: what typee of physics you thinking of taking up in the next year?

But if you're only there for the day the park&ride is the best option by far, and is pretty cheap. If you have any questions on colleges etc just send a PM.

Surprisingly, there are less posh people at Oxford than you probably think. There are more at places like Durham (apparently, that's where all the posh kids who tried to get into Oxford but weren't smart enough go :v:) I'm not sure about what kind of physics yet, but I definitely am into astronomy and stuff and laser physics sounds great as well, so I'll keep an eye out for information on those. What about you?

I'll ask everyone I meet if they're you :P
