I'd probably watch it if there wasn't any horse death. Other than that, it looks like a pretty beautiful movie!
It's about WWI, of course there's going to be a lot of horses dying; there were almost as many horses dying as men, with very little actually dying during battle. Also, of course the horse is going to die, anyone with knowledge about WWI could tell you that; and it is an animal movie...
was expecting actual horses was disapp-
Actually, I've had to see a few horses be put down, and it really isnt pretty. Very violent, to say the least
Good.
Nope, I just love all animals.
Ok but human deaths are fine? I understand loving animals, so do but this mentality angers me. You have to be literally the biggest pussy ever to not watch a movie if an animal dies, and at the same time, you'd have to be extremely sadistic and sick to not even note a single humans death. Loving animals, fine, same with not wanting to see animal deaths. But loving animals over humans with lives, stories, greater intelligence, morals, ideals, families, love, hope.... you are being rediculously unrealistic. If you don't want to see animals dying, you have to not want to see humans dying alike.
Horses in World War 1 didn't mix well in history......
Damn I'd rather take an All Quiet on the Western Front remake than this... why aren't there any good Eastern Front films.
