i've been bulk lifting for 4~ months now and I can't decide if I want to start doing toning or if I should continue bulking. i was thinking tone for like 2-3 months then go back to bulk lifting. good idea?

depends how your metabolism works. my bulk months should last for much longer since I have a very fast metabolism. although i'm sure 2-3 months is more than enough for cutting if you work hard enough.
it also depends on how you want to look i guess. recently i decided i don't like looking like a fat cunt so i only bulk for like 4 months of the year when it's cold. then for the rest of the year i still eat heaps, but do cardio as well.
there's no rule to when you have to bulk or cut. you know your body best so you know how you react to gaining weight and losing it. do what you think is best, follow your heart bro~

i think what I'm going to do is just keep doing my Insanity regiment but keep bulk lifting on the side, kind of do an on-off style thing. i'm really happy with the results i have so might as well keep improving. my metabolism is insanely fast too

YES ! hit 172.5kg on conv deadlift, without straps. That's 2.54x BW, manlet mode ftw ! I was really surprised, because my grip failed after 165kg a week ago. Besides I've been on calorie deficit all the time. I'm trying to cut to <66kg.

Max i tried doing was 265 and i coulda done like 4-5 reps. Should i go for 305 or would i ruin my back? Has to be this week.

You might manage it, you might not be able to lift it at all, but then there's the possibility that you do something in the middle, and get it maybe half way up or all the way up, then as your not yet strong enough back muscles give way, your spine takes 305lbs of weight and twists or some shit.
It really doesn't seem worth fucking up your back (possibly permanently) for an ipod touch, don't do it.

I'd do it. If you can honestly do 4-5 reps on 265 i think you could prob handle 305 as a one rep max. If you die I'm not responsible for anything you did.
I just started doing deads again. Did 385x12 for like 4 sets. fast as shit too. prolly less then 20 seconds to do a whole set.
