If your BP id that little and squat that much for reps than I really need to see some pics of your body and/or proof.
If your BP id that little and squat that much for reps than I really need to see some pics of your body and/or proof.
yo my squat is up 115kg right now and my bench has been stuck on 60kg forever now so idk maybe it's some real shit but idk
bench is always a bitch.... use a 531 template and if that doesn't get you above 60 then you got a shit diet.
How the fuck can someone bench 65 kg yet complete 15 reps of 185 kg on squat? I normally do reps of 230 kg on the leg press so maybe he meant the leg press, but damn if not then he must have huge legs.
I bench 95kgx3, but can only squat 105kgx5 :(
5/3/1 , what's taking you so long ?!!?!?!?
You and your bench/squat/deadlift stats, but how much can you... wrist curl :P
can curl a midget eg da gf shes 5 1/2 stone for reps come at me bro
What's 5/3/1 exactly? The number of reps you perform over 3 sets for strength training?
bench is always a bitch.... use a 531 template and if that doesn't get you above 60 then you got a shit diet.
i've always had front delt problems, so I think that's kind of causing the bench problem. my legs are fucking awesome though, love them to death~~~~ and I eat a shitton everyday, probably around ~3k cals a day. i've just always hated bench. i've even tried changing up my chest routine every 4 weeks but my bench always stalls like a bitch also pls stop getting bant i need u in my lyfe
What's 5/3/1 exactly?
i think your confusing leg press w/ squats
My trainer said it was a squat machine. I'm going off of that.
Will do man. Only problem at the moment is iv got blisters on blisters, how is that even possible :v:
Stop using the smith machine ffs
Fuark, only worked out 2 days this week. Thanksgiving fucked up EVERYTHING. Still, had two solid workouts.
Stop using the smith machine ffs
Care to elaborate on that?
Care to elaborate on that?
Use a real bench, not a machine that helps you. You'll get much stronger and build your stabilizing muscles at the same time.
Smith machines have their place. Especially when you are going through physical therapy and you have the strength but not the stability. There are reasons they exist don't entirely discount them. Overall, I would recommend BB and DB over smith, though you get much more stability and strength from my experience. [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] idk i'm not a doctor
Use a real bench, not a machine that helps you. But its getting all re-done at Christmas so it will have a squat rack and a real bench press hopefully!
a gym with a smith machine but no actual bench lmao what [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] i only use the smith machine for decline benchpress really
Ah, i would to love to use a real bench, but the gym does not have one yet. But its getting all re-done at Christmas so it will have a squat rack and a real bench press hopefully!
your gym isnt a real gym
Hey guys, started lifting about four months ago. I kind of had some setbacks into the last weeks because I noticed I was starting to get too fat to have perdy mussels. So I started a diet and I'm not sure if it has just been cutting into my gains. Here is my modest contribution to the thread. Age: 18 Height: 5'11" Weight: 180 lbs Bench: 185 lbs Haven't maxed out squat in a while [img_thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/AHNyfo.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/p06Xh6.jpg[/img_thumb] Sorry for shitty cell phone quality, selfy pose, etc.
