your question is completely scattered. you want to widen your core and know what posture is better? the second one, although it is also not perfect. you're overly relying on your chest to 'base' your dominance. if your thoracic is more open, your wings will pop up giving you a wider look, along with a thicker back because in order to maintain that posture you'll need to activate your back muscles more readily on a daily basis. in the long run, a better posture means far greater symmetry, power, strength and hypertrophy. your body works in symbioses. instead of huncing and further increasing your chance of injury and decreasing your overall potenial i would suggest this; work on your upper chest and delts. that's the look you're trying to achieve and is lacking with you when you hunch over.
So I open my thoracic [widening core] by exercising chest and delts? Thats going to thicken out my torso and draw attention away from the obliques?
Pls work chest and shoulders. PLS
I suppose your echoing this for the same reason?
thoracic represents your upper back (chest, shoulders....) and i gave you that solution because i assumed you were actively hunching over to compensate for something you're lacking. so instead, i gave you a solution, a perspective on what you need to work on instead of hunching. now, in regards to your core, be more specific... your abs look fine, you got a thick looking torso. why do want to widen it?
