Ah, dammit. An ability that makes you see invisible players. I know what EVERYONE will be using. There goes stealth.
From what I saw you get that as an upgrade if you're mainly playing as stealth, so you can out stealth other stealths, but you'll be able to go stealth against more aggressive players which is how gameplay should be going in the first place.
In case anybody cares, the song is Hybrid - Dream Stalker. It's seriously like the second song I've heard in a game trailer that I actually recognise, and the first one was in the previous trailer for the same game. I guess my taste in music is the same as Crytek's marketing video editor. Anyway, great trailer. The game will be a let-down if Crysis 1 is anything to go by. Amazing graphics, but a buggy, unfinished game published by EA.
Why do we have to have unlocks and shit? Power Struggle in Crysis was fine the way it was. I liked getting payed for individual kills, not having a persistent account over many matches. By the looks of it, Multiplayer doesn't even have vehicles.
Hope it runs better on ATI cards than old Crysis.
It got leaked.
Wouldn't this be a bit unfair for new players as the game progresses? Established players would have stronger abilities while the new player have nothing.
Ah, dammit. An ability that makes you see invisible players. I know what EVERYONE will be using. There goes stealth.
It doesn't actually make you able to see people who are stealthed. What it does is give you a general location marker and your radar telling you where they were when they cloaked, not after and if they were within your field of vision when they cloaked they will be slightly easier to spot than usual until they get out of your sight. It'll also leave a glitchy "silhouette" of where they last cloaked. Which, if you're clever, you can use to lure people into shooting your previous location whilst hiding somwhere else.
Im glad you can see invinsible players, otherwise Stealth would be abused.
It sure as hell wasn't abused in Crysis Wars. People used it for 1 kill then that was it.
This is the first thing I've seen that makes me interested in the game. I'll wait for the demo though before I preorder.
