They wouldn't need to 'reveal' themselves, the simple fact that there was such a huge influx in people (the number of people on the planet, vs how many were actually born) would be enough proof.

Oh yay another XY country had Z technology during WW2. If they actually had that technology it would have survived till today and would still be experimented on. It's like a mobile phone, we need to know the number of the other/same time machine to make the call and instead of the call going just through space like the phone it goes through both time and space. Again it's just a theory, that's how science works.
