he came in and tried to be a know it all
Somebody want to tell me the page number? I want to see the arguments.
On page 7 but I think there may be some shit on 5 and 6 as well.
Well that was entertaining. I wish I hadn't gotten banned, I would've liked to be a part of that conversation.
what how did that deserve a one month ban That was pretty harsh :v:

IMO: Who > Fucking > Cares?
Back to Metallica talk; I really think that Cliff's death was the beginning of the end for Metallica. Sure, they're carried on for a long while, and yeah, they've had mixed success with their releases since Master Of Puppets, but it just hasn't been the same as the early years. We miss you Cliff :(
OP has Tobias Sammet in his Avtr. Nice. :) Contributing: Metallica became shit w/ Mainstream Success. Justice prevailing, Jethro Tull got the first ever Grammy for Hard Rock/Heavy Metal ;P
Been trying to get Orion solo down.

They did seem to only go downhill, in my opinion.
They started going downhill with the mainstream thing, but it was an incredibly small hill. AKA they werent as good as before, but still they fucking rocked.
I still say St. Anger and ReLoad sucked, but aside from that, yeah they were still pretty awesome.
I like St. Anger alot. ReLoad isnt really too good, but Fuel and Fixxxer are pretty nice.
St. Anger was okay, just not as good as the other albums.
I like St. Anger alot. ReLoad isnt really too good, but Fuel and Fixxxer are pretty nice.
I liked The Unnamed Feeling and Fuel, respectively. Both are not good enough to sell me on the albums. Load I actually liked, but I just could not like ReLoad.
Personally I haven't _really_ liked an album since Justice, except for the second CD on Garage Inc. But that doesn't really count.
I thought AJFA was pretty boring. That's about where I lost interest. That's just me though.
I thought AJFA was pretty boring. That's about where I lost interest. Justice was my favorite Metallica album, ever. The concepts got a little cheesy after a while but the music is fucking ace. I honestly think it had their best riffs ever.
I fucking love listening to this;

I don't like listening to Justice because of the production and, as has been said, the material, while very good, isn't what it could have been.
I love post-MOP, i don't think Cliff's death was the end, let's wait and see for their next album, hopefully now with Rob they can start banging some more awesome shit together, because i really enjoyed DM.

And I agree, Robs awesome and seems to have brought the band back on track
"I thought we all outgrew Metallica in 8th grade." Forgot who said that.
Yeah, well, they were wrong
"I thought we all outgrew Metallica in 8th grade." Forgot who said that.
I didnt even know who metallica was back then. But they're still awesomme
