I'm definitely going to see Metallica in november if I can get tickets next thursday. I spoke to mum (for some reason, I'd go even if she said no, I'm 18) and she agreed to drive me down to Sydney and back the next day so that makes things easier. Also, it seems that because of the pre-sale thing they've added another show for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne (I think). YAY! I've never been to a concert before and my first is gonna be Metallica! FUCK YEAH! Now, the only thing that could make me happier at the moment would be if I knew an exact date for the next time Disturbed comes to Australia.
I'm seeing them on Tuesday and Wednesday, got tickets for both nights in Belfast.
Anyone know the next time they're coming to England? :3: Or at least where I can find out
how much are tickets :ohdear:
I don't know the price, I hope it's not too much.
Anyone know the next time they're coming to England? :3: Or at least where I can find out
May 11th and 12th. Also, the Australian leg of the tour is the end.
Actually they're going to Northern Ireland for their UK part of World Magnetic. :saddowns:

There's always that. My first concert was Iron Maiden, so I'd say we're about even :smug:
i got tickets to the melbourne rod laver tour :D hope to see some FP'ers there
how much were tickets bro and hopefully i'll see you there :v:
The ticketek website says something about VISA pre-sale from the 7th until the 10th, does that mean that on the 13th (when they start selling to the general public) that it won't say "allocation exhausted" for everything except "silver res seating"? Or should I just buy one of those tickets now just in case. [editline]09:08PM[/editline] Should I just buy the Silver Reserved ticket now just to guarantee myself a place there or is waiting to get standing tickets worth the risk of missing out? [editline]09:48PM[/editline] Fuck it, I'm gonna wait until thursday and get a gold reserved seating ticket. I like the idea of being able to go and take a piss and coming back to my own seat instead of trying to push through a crowd...
do you know how much it is?
I know that it's $150 for Standing and Gold Reserved Seating and $130 for Silver Reserved.
Fuck I don't have the money. I'll try and work something out with mum.
Goddamn, that's bloody expensive :v:
Goddamn, that's bloody expensive :v:
No. VIP passes to The Wall live with Roger Waters are fucking expensive. $750.00 USD EACH. Plus $150 AUS to get standing tickets for Metallica isn't that bad.
Oh shit, goddamn. But then again for big bands like that it costs shit tonnes. Motorhead tickets are only £26 which is pretty fucking awesome. Although, of all 365 days in the year, they happened to be performing ON THE SAME FUCKING NIGHT AS AMORPHIS :saddowns: I'll probably see Amorphis though since I prefer them. But Motorhead are doing a tour, so they're doing 2 or 3 concerts in Scotland. Might see them in a different town another night.

Amorphis NEVER FUCKING COMES to the US. I might wait a lifetime for it to happen, I hope it's goddamn worth it.
Yeah I heard it was happening and was like OH MY GOD FUCKK :gizz: They'll likely not come back for yearssss but I hope they do :v: They are fucking awesome. Motorhead will do a world tour when they finish I reckon and I'll see them then :downs:
It was £55 for them in N.I Tuesday and Wednesday. I got a pair for £75 off eBay :v:
Come to England Metallica god-dammit. Once every ten years in Manchester is their average so far :P Sucks for people in like South America and Oz, its like one show every 20 years.
The last time they were in Australia was January 2004, which was the last time they toured behind an album. [editline]01:49PM[/editline] Yay, I got my ticket (which is strange seeing as the pre-sale is over and general sale doesn't start until the 13th) and I'm going on the 11th of November. Unfortunately because of this fuckup with the timing I'm in section 82 of the stands. But still, METALLICA! how much was it?
$150 plus postage and ticket insurance, so about $176 total.
how much were tickets bro and hopefully i'll see you there :v:
well we paid $300 each (me and my dad) but some friends at school sayd they paid $90 :S
They're coming to my town, Adelaide I think when I was twelve I would have wanted to go, but not anymore. I saw AC/DC earlier this year for 150 bucks, was awesome. I dont think I'd pay 150 for metallica, but a lot of my friends are going
well we paid $300 each (me and my dad) but some friends at school sayd they paid $90 :S
Where are your tickets? Where are their tickets? If you have general admission this might make sense.
i dont think i'll be going as i dont think mum would let me borrow money :(
is there anything planned for EU yet? Especially Netherlands.
I would never pay that much to see metallica unless they planned a ride the lightning/master of puppets only set
