Metallica need to do a Kill 'Em All 30th Anniversary Tour.
Like Megadeth are doing with Killing Is My Business.
I would jizz a jumbo jet if they toured together and played those albums
Price's are fucking bullshit for the concert, I passed.

Fucking fuck yes.
Single best album they've made, by far. Listened to it far more than I have any other album of theirs. Masterpiece.
Why do they play in drop D live? It sounds ten times better at standard tuning
my friend bought 2 tickets :v:
just gotta get the money to pay him
[editline]04:32PM[/editline]
also on the map above the seats is in the 2 block
My friend has a contact who managed to buy tickets a week before they were out here in Sydney (I just saw the first TV ad a few hours ago).
I think it's about $150 for each of us, can't wait til November 10th.

They play in Eb, as far as i'm aware, not drop D because James' voice was damaged during the Black Album Tour in 92, and since then he has never been able to sing in tune to E, so they drop it to Eb to make his vocals fit in more smoothly.
Just back from the second night they played here in Belfast, seated first and standing second. I touched Roberts bass AS he was playing it, then touched James while no one else could reach either. Then got a coffin shaped Death Magnetic pick.

Well he's better now than he was. Basically he would sing songs like So What? for example and only have been drinking beer. So he ended up blowing his voice. However since then he does a little warm up tape before every show to prepare his voice as much as possible. He's getting his shout and his screams back, Sonisphere and Nimes are good examples of huge festivals where he was really on it vocally.
So What? is a hilarious song.

I agree.
Well my amp just blew up (literally) whilst i was playing some Metallica. It popped during Fight Fire with Fire then exploded when i was playing the mosh in Battery.
I felt rock and roll for 5 minutes then realised i'm going to have to replace it... :( I suppose that's what i get for buying a Line 6 as my practice amp, terrible build quality.
Your amp could not handle the awesome that is Metallica

I know i was letting loose aswell, it died playing Battery, a fitting end to any good amp imo.

I remember seeing that, even tough the version I saw was censored :v:
There's no point playing a song like that if they censor it :v:

It was ten times more hilarious, tough.
was it just bleeped out?
Because it's always funny when they do that
but when they just cut out the word it's not good :c
