Oh man, 3:20 onwards sounds like it would be SO GOOD with Kill 'Em All vocal style.
And All Nightmare Long is pretty kickass. Does seem to have gone back to the Thrash roots. Although not as much as I'd have hoped. Perhaps the next album will have more Thrash :buddy:
All Nightmare Long is very [I]riffy[/I], it's just so fucking heavy, thrashy and lyrically brutal. And it gets points for being Metallica's 3rd Lovecraft-inspired song next to The Thing That Should Not Be and The Call of Ktulu.

St. Anger II probably won't be called St.Anger II, and will probably not be released for a long time. The articles going up for deletion so no one has to worry anymore.
I had a little edit battle with the troll and i kept just pasting my full edit page in for lols to piss him off. He gave up i think. We should just counter by wrecking the Megadeth page as collataral, somehow i think it's one retarded fanboy.

I reckon they'll just work some of the leftover St Anger stuff into future albums. Apparently part of the lyrics for All Nightmare Long are from the St Anger era.
They seem to do that a lot, recycle unused ideas from older work. But they change it and it works so yeah.
One of All Nightmare Long's riffs was originally to be used in a St. Anger song, sounded pretty groovy I think. Was called Shadows of the Cross or something like that.

Actually, I made it into an epic article about how it was gonna a redux of St. Anger, Metallica was starting to play Groove Metal, Kirk playing sitar on some songs, and that Dave was gonna be a guest musician.
Then the troll bowed to me and declared me his master and left it to me, then I re-edited to what it is now, I'm a fucking genius...
