It's so... Beautiful
Metallica fans.
I require help.
Does anyone know what it is lars plays on the bass in songs like blackened when he goes 1\4 on the high hats?
It sounds like three bass hits, snare, one bass, repeat
check out this amazing 09 preformance of hit the lights
Megadeth? I'm not sure that they would have shared a bill with Metallica. Especially in the '80's.
Actually in a recent interview with Jeff Young, he was complaining about Dave and how he got high or drunk (or both) during a gig they shared with Metallica.
That interview gave me the impression that Jeff Young is a whiny bitch. He's also not that great of a guitarist.

Dave had a serious drug (and alcohol) problem. Even more then the guys in Metallica, and they all went through rehab and shit too. Dave was huuuuuuuuge into some incredibly hard drugs (cocaine, heroin, etc) back in the 80's. It's part of the reason why he got kicked out of Metallica actually.
And back on the topic of Metallica, this Big Four bullshit is really starting to piss me off. A couple shows in Poland, now a one-night festival headline in the UK...and for the country they all originate from, we get a one-night-only event in California. Seriously guys, just plan out a fucking tour together. Get your shit straight, and don't you god damned dare make your first appearance in the US your only one - ESPECIALLY not since you already played a FEW dates in fucking POLAND.
Yeah they should just do a big world tour
They'd get so much fucking money, I'm sure that would appeal to Metallica :v:

I don't see why wouldn't this idea work really.

when lars does the single or double bass hits as opposed to triple on harvester of sorrow i think it makes the song sound so much FATTER and heavier
one of the better modifications to his songs he did
So Metallica are in on some super duper secret project.
Oooo so mysterious.
St. Anger II
St. Anger II
And it's gonna be dubstepcore.
Also will include sequels to The Unforgiven III and One. Entitled The Unforgiven IV and One II, respectively.
well since lars cant do the doubles on one at all anymore they mine as well throw that one out
maybe another covers album since it'll only be 2 weeks to record. raw sound etc
well kirk is saying it's not a 100% Metallica style album
definitely St Anger II
:ohdear:

in all honesty this is a piece of shit design
all it is is an explorer with a bit sanded out of the tail and it looks like they didn't cut the fin properly
the headstock is the same as the fin

Kinda funny because they've been saying the same about both Death Magnetic and St. Anger.

I think it will be what it will be, and most guesses are probably wrong.

Jaymz likes Explorers.
He has a deal with ESP.
Gibson won't let ESP make Explorers.
ESP/Jaymz take Gibson design and cut bits out to make it legal.
It makes sense, and it's probably the closest we're gonna get to a new ESP Explorer like they used to make

Which is too bad because the old ones were really cool.
the Ibanez ones were apparently better than the Gibsons

Even now, Destroyers are pretty cool.
Garage, Inc. (Deluxe 6lp)

It's getting a vinyl reissue.

Some people like having vinyl versions of albums, I guess they're just catering to that group (and making some money while they're at it)
