no but typical comments on youtube and lyrics site bag out load and reload for not being thrash and people say that they are shit albums in general. they are good albums despite not being heavy. and i wasn't directing my post at anyone in this thread just a general rant.

I got the original single 12" of JITF (no idea why they pressed singles as 12"s instead of 7"s but whatever) and it kicks ass. got two super rare live tracks on the b side that are still hard to find.

Progressive thrash. That's probably why the album is my all time favorite
besides why does slower music mean boring? There is a bit of filler withins eye of the beholder and shortest straw but other. Than that the album is pretty solid

That's the main point. It's not bad, just the least "thrash"
When I say boring progressive, I don't really mean it to be negative, just to say it's music made progressive while removing speed where there are plenty of bands that are progressive and can maintain that level of technicality.

No, there was a part in SKoM where they were talking about how during the recording of the Black Album, only Kirk and James could say anything about the guitar parts and only Lars and Jason could talk about their drums/bass respectively.

They were heavy on drugs back in the 80's, which is why they're so against it now.
Kirk said in SKoM that he stopped taking drugs and cut back on the drinking because it was getting in the way of his surfing. But there's an extra scene that shows him in traffic school because he got busted driving while high on pot.
