im a little weary but a few youtubers have mentioned it and i had basically a straight up conversation but who knows if its true. hence the "i heard"
It would be interesting to know.
Harvester of sorrow
The song's subject matter refers to a man who descends into madness, taking out his anger on his family. At the end of the song, it is hinted his sanity snaps and he murders them.
Harvester of Sorrow is the best song from the Justice album - their Russia performance proved it.
I'd enjoy Death Magnetic more if Hetfield didn't sound like a country singer on some of the songs (Day that Never Comes comes to mind).
Well looks like you're missing out then :smug:
yeah the day that never comes is a fucking shit song
Yeah, modern day Metallica ballads are more like country songs. They'll probably never write anything like Sanitarium or Fade to Black again.
I think Unforgiven III is their best song since early the 90s.
It's alot better than II, but the original reigns supreme.
it still sucks
The Death Magnetic demos were better then the actual album.
he loves country music so that'd explain why he sings like a cuntry singer
Just ordered To Live Is To Die. Can't wait to read it.
it's a good read
its shipping from england do i gotta wait
i heard Kirk was heavy into heroin somewhere (in reference to the last page discussion). I know Lars was big into cocaine even into the late 90's aswell. James was into weed and lots of booze, dunno about Jason.
It's alot better than II, but the original reigns supreme.
The unforgiven II is way better than the 3rd, it was a trainwreck and was only named the Unforgiven III so that it could be compared to the previous 2 like in conversations we have now. Otherwise we would call it the filler ballad. [editline]29th May 2011[/editline] I've never heard anything past drinking, but Lars being into heavy drugs sorta goes without saying. Just look at him
its shipping from england do i gotta wait
depends where you live I guess I think my copy came in about a week from amazon and I live offshore UK
Take a look next to the flag next to my name and I'm Australian.
well that was a tad derp on my part dunno, maybe 2 weeks ish?
true, i was thinking about 2 weeks. How long did it take you to finish it?
I still haven't. Had it about a year and a half :v: with picking up bass, getting into a band, school work and work, I never got a chance to finish it.
The unforgiven II is way better than the 3rd, it was a trainwreck and was only named the Unforgiven III so that it could be compared to the previous 2 like in conversations we have now. the first is the only good one the rest are abysmal
All 3 are super. Only bad points about 2 is that it sounded country. Number 3 goes on a bit too long and I didn't really dig the piano intro. Other than that they are all super.
The second one had a country thing to it because they were fucking around with other types of music at the time. I like all of them, but the first one is definitely my favourite.
okay haha but seriously guys 2 and 3 are awful
okay haha but seriously guys 2 and 3 are awful
wait, are you one of those idiots who only like early thrash metallica?
Vedi, you are a tragic mistake that your mother and I regret to this day, but I still love ya. <3
