When listening to Death Magnetic it reminds me of Slayer. Just 1 or 2 tracks but it reminds me of slayer.

I thought so too when I heard "My Apocalypse".
Death Magnetic was such an enormous comeback for Metallica. [editline]28th July 2011[/editline] And Suicide & Redemption is my favorite instrumental from Metallica.

I wish I was in Berkeley when they did the S&M concert in 1999. I'm 12 years too late, dammit.
But it's boring
I second this S&r, then orion, then chtulu then live is to die
I second this S&r, then orion, then chtulu then live is to die
Why do I feel like you must disagree with everything I say? It's probably a coincidence... But I'm on to you! :v: for me its Call of Ktulu, To Live Is To Die, Orion, then Suicide and Redemption, which is still good.
Orion, Call/Live is to Die, S&R for me v:v:v [editline]29th July 2011[/editline] Although in an album context I think To Live is to Die wins because it's part of the epic second half of Justice

for death mag you really need to grab a third party remaster off a torrent site *after youve bought it* the studio master is an embarassment [editline]29th July 2011[/editline] i have 2 suicide and remptions in my library. one end with KH and one ends with JH. obviously kirk and james. but i cant tell the diff between the 2. anyone wanna enlighten me
for death mag you really need to grab a third party remaster off a torrent site *after youve bought it* the studio master is an embarassment
Yeah, I bought the record last year and the quality is low. The record company admitted to lowering the quality so they could make it louder. Could you PM a good remastered version?

The mastering on Death Magnetic is atrocious. At least Justice's mix was unconventional but didn't particularly harm the album (unless you're a dickhead) [editline]29th July 2011[/editline]
still only listened to justice fully once goddamn got half way through it once but then i got tired and went to bed ~4 tracks through I will do it I promise
Fucking right you will or I'll put my dick in your eye

The normal version includes both.
It's hard to number them. To Live would probably have to be my favorite because of the power and emotion in it. Orion is equally good and is such a master piece. Ktulu really brings the atmosphere around you and incredibly fun to head bang to. Suicide and Redemption really bought Metallica back to their roots. Instrumentally it's really good.
I thought Death Magnetic was a mess. Sure it was heavy but it felt like they glued a bunch of unrelated riffs for each song together and called it a song. The exception would be All Nightmare long.
Put To Live Is To Die before Orion and you've got yourself a deal
But dat baaaaaass ;-;
Metallica sucks compared to Nickelback! I'm an 06'r, you should listen to me! (User was banned for this post ("Trolling / Starting to post about Nickelback again" - Swebonny))
