i was watching some metallica meet and greets and it seems like everyone is faking interest except lars. which is weird since he seemed like the biggest asshole in the band
Kirk is always weird when he's greeting people, Lars is awesome though. I remember watching one when they were in Denmark, and Lars was speaking Danish to everyone and having a good time.
Metallica's cover Sabbra Caddabra and their Nothing else Matters fell into my ear, I like them. Do they have more of that kind? Its hard to describe what I mean, well, harmonic metal. Just that harmonic doesn't mean its calm. Fitting nicely together, not too much, not too little, ah fuck. Hard to explain :v: Basically, what are Metallica's calmest songs?

Prince Charming is close to what I mean. Smooth, yeah, that would be a word for it.

through the never is what makes the black album legit also if you like nothing else matters just listen to everything else on the black album it's all pretty much the same feel besides through the never
through the never is what makes the black album legit also if you like nothing else matters just listen to everything else on the black album it's all pretty much the same feel besides through the never
Wolf and Man?
that one too through the never is still the best though hu hu hu
the god the failed
Holier Than Thou is a cool song.
okay why dont i do my runthrough eh? 1. sandman - overratted and gay 2. sad but true -okay 3- holier than though - very nice 4. the unforgiven - overratted but not too bad 5. whereever i may roam - kickass 6. dont tread on me - kickass 7. through the never - fucking YES 8. nothing else matters - Fake and Gay 9. of wolf and man - hidden gem 10. the god that failed - hidden gem 11. friend of - eh 12. struggle - eh
I guess I'll go though it too. 1. "Enter Sandman" - Alright, but it's boring and way to overrated. 2. "Sad but True" - Heavy, good, but overplayed. 3. "Holier Than Thou" - Great song, one of the more thrashy pieces. 4. "The Unforgiven" - Will always be a classic. 5. "Wherever I May Roam" - Very nice, but I like others a lot more. 6. "Don't Tread on Me" - One of my favorites. 7. "Through the Never" - One of my favorites again. 8. "Nothing Else Matters" - A masterpiece. 9. "Of Wolf and Man" - Catchy, awesome guitar. 10. "The God That Failed" - Kick-fucking-ass. 11. "My Friend of Misery" - Probably my favorite. 12. "The Struggle Within" - Eh, not very catchy, but it's nice.
if you were raiken i would totally zing you by saying kinda like you posting but i like you
Hooray I'm liked! :buddy: I started learning "Mama Said" on guitar to get a better grasp on chords. It's coming along slowly, but it's getting there.
if you were raiken i would totally zing you by saying kinda like you posting but i like you
Agreed.
what a stupid thing to agree with lol
Okay
Mama Said is probably one of my favorite songs to play on guitar. It's easy but I just love playing it.

The worst covers being Am I Evil and Whiskey in the Jar!!!
How can you say that, I love the cover of Am I Evil?. And they have amazing covers, all of the ones that were recorded back in the '80's at least.
the original is better and whiskey in the jar is overrated and they only recorded 4 covers in the 80s outside of their demo [editline]15th August 2011[/editline] best metallica cover
Altogether they made like 10 covers in the 80's (that were officially released). And yeah, Whiskey In The Jar kinda sucks. [editline]15th August 2011[/editline] Now this song is good
no, they seriously only recorded 7 covers in the 80s, the 5.98 EP and the B sides of creeping death besides their demos
