4PM with Anthrax. And I'm fairly certain it ended around 11, but I couldn't tell you for sure. Watch was in my pocket and my phone was off since it was dying.
I just found out that a guy I know went, and he was right near home plate. He said there were lots of Asians there. :v: They need to play in NY more often.

The nosebleeds are probably cheaper than $90, yes, but a season pass for home games behind home plate is upwards of $28,000.

Holy shit, Lou is way worse than I thought...... Metallica how much money are you getting to do this shit.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005NN6MZG#mp3TrackPlayer Here's an actual sample, sounds hilarious.
:suicide:
Towards the end with the "I am the root" bit it sounds like it starts getting good, but it cuts off too early to be sure.
The guitar and James sound excellent, but Lou just doesn't fit.
Good God, get rid of Reed, he's ruining what could have been a good song. Again, I'll wait for more audio to come.
hooray, another album looks to be crap. any word on what Worship Music is like? maybe it's the only good release from the big 4 this year.
Well they went with a bit less thrashy approach but I thought it kicks ass. The style totally gives away though that they originally wrote that stuff with John Bush

His vocals are awesome. I reckon this'll be the only album I'll buy out of the 3.
Earth on Hell sounds pretty classic to me.
So giving Worship Music a listen, I love it. It mostly isn't the oldschool stuff, and honestly expecting a band to do the same thing is stupid. Joey "adapts" really well into what wasn't originally written for his style.

uuuuuh
hahahahahahahahahahahaahaahah i told you lulu was gonna suck that riff is great though
hahahahahahahahahahahaahaahah i told you lulu was gonna suck that riff is great though
You seem happy about that. Why are you happy ?
Hopefully Metallica will do a real solo album soon.
You seem happy about that. Why are you happy ?
because no one believed me when i said there was no way this album could turn out good
Because people want it to be good and it's understandable. And there's still a chance that Lulu won't be as bad as some people think ; that audio simple is only 30 sec long. Until it is released, I think we should just kinda wait until screaming out loud how "this sucks".
Why wouldn't they release a sample that sounds good though?
This. The whole point of those samples is to give the listener the best parts of the music to convince him to buy it. If this is the best part of the song then uh...

If this is the best part of the song then uh...
There's also the whole "musical opinion" thing. Maybe Lou and Metallica think that's the best part of the album and we're just disagreeing with them. Who knows what the rest of it's going to be like? There's no such thing as the objectively "best" part of an album.
