I listened to the whole thing in one go. it just kinda all flowed together. I don't think I'll listen to it much more than that but I didn't have to turn it off or anything. [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] I was multitasking though while listening so that's not totally fair I guess
they should perform this song more often [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] disposable page-king
Went onto LuLu wiki page and found this
Awww, it's gone.
Actually, it has already been edited a few time before and they keep puting it back. I'm not against the fact that James is a table. Because he totaly is.
they should perform this song more often [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] disposable page-king
You want them to play this more often? Seeing as Metallica's setlist is mostly the same for the past few years, I would like them to play some songs off Load/Reload: Carpe Diem Baby, King Nothing, Poor Twisted Me, Unforgiven II, Devil's Dance, Slither, Poor Twisted Me, Ronnie, motherfucking Cure or 2x4. Now THESE songs should "be played more often" Hopefully on the 30 year anniversary, they will perform some of these songs. Anyways, do you guys have any idea what Met could come up with with the 30th anniversary? I wish they played every single album they released to THE END. (Like with MoP)
fuck that load/reload sucks
Haha, no. But in all seriousness - opinions.
I don't want to see anything from Load or ReLoad, I want thrash metal and I want it now.
yus bcz da trash iz best metul No but in all seriousness, I'd like that too. But that dosen't stop me from wanting to see songs like "Fixxxer, Carp Diem Baby, The Unnamed Feeling, Low Man's Lyric, etc" beeing played live.
fuck that load/reload sucks
some songs are fucking fantastic, some aren't on par with the quality you might be used to get from metallica, but they still work more often than not.
Yes, Fixxxer rocks, and so does Unnamed Feeling-especially live.
I couldn't tell for Fixxxer because, sadly, they never played this song live. I wish they would, I freaking love it. Oh well, a man can dream. :v:
fuck that load/reload sucks
CUZ AAAHHMMM AAAA YEEAAAAA HEAAAAEEEEYEEEAAAAA typical reload vocals
This is stupid beyond what words can describe
lol did lars just call lous terrible lyrics poetry? silly lars
Yeah well, unlike some people he's not THE TABLE
hahahaha i honestly love lou reed, he doesn't fucking care about anything
i just read up on that album he mentioned in the article, now i'm laughing my ass off
As a radical departure from the rest of Reed's catalog, Metal Machine Music is generally considered to be either a joke, a grudging fulfillment of a contractual obligation, or an early example of noise music. The album features no songs or even recognizably structured compositions, eschewing melody and rhythm for an hour of over-modulated feedback and guitar effects, intricately mixed at varying speeds by Reed himself. In the album's liner notes he claimed to have invented heavy metal music and asserted that Metal Machine Music was the ultimate conclusion of that genre. The album made Reed a laughingstock in the rock industry while simultaneously opening the door for his later, more experimental material.
Honnestly, what the fridge. But yeah, Lou Reed = Not giving one fuck.

[editline]3rd November 2011[/editline] Which is a shame.
some songs are fucking fantastic, some aren't on par with the quality you might be used to get from metallica, but they still work more often than not.
yeah I'd love to hear more subpar songs. it'd be great if they toured doing nothing playing the st anger album from to back
yeah I'd love to hear more subpar songs. it'd be great if they toured doing nothing playing the st anger album from to back
So I'm guessing you're the kind of guy who likes Metallica yet resents anything they've done between 1995 and 2003. Grow up.
I am disappointed in how this album turned out... uh lulu I mean
