Lulu isn't even a Metallica album, they even said it themselves :v: For fucks sake guys, the Metallica logo is not even on the cover
So it's a Lou Reed album, featuring Metallica?
So it's a Lou Reed album, featuring Metallica?
Pretty much.
Guys... Back from the store and... and... I bought Lulu. And you know what ? Fuck you, I like it.
I was wondering why lads at work were saying they were "the table" all day.Now I know.
So I'm guessing you're the kind of guy who likes Metallica yet resents anything they've done between 1995 and 2003. Grow up.
What's so bad about St. Anger? I thought it was pretty good.
Heard that Lulu was "doomed to be a flop" and is estimated to sell only 12,000 to 15,000 copies in the first week. :v:
What's so bad about St. Anger? I thought it was pretty good.
I enjoyed it. Not exactly their best but it was a decent album, seeing what they were going through at the time.
St Anger is a decent album, there are just a lot of flaws that make it a bad one. I enjoy listening to it but there are just so many flaws.
So I'm guessing you're the kind of guy who likes Metallica yet resents anything they've done between 1995 and 2003. Grow up.
you're telling him to grow up for not liking shitty albums?
you're telling him to grow up for not liking shitty albums?
If any other band released those albums they would not be classed "shitty" am I right?
So I'm guessing you're the kind of guy who likes Metallica yet resents anything they've done between 1995 and 2003. No you get out.
St Anger is a decent album, there are just a lot of flaws that make it a bad one. Still, Invisible Kid, Unnamed Feeling and Some Kind of Monster are gid un's
Oh god I remember when I tried to learn The Shortest Straw through guitar tabs. All of them were horrible, thank god I learned to play it perfectly by myself. Working on the perfect guitar tab for it atm. Complete with drumtracks.
I have said it before, I will say it again. The tab book for Justice is absolutely, utterly and irreperably fucked, beyond all logical reasoning or imagining, and it deserves it's place amongst the worst tab books of all time, right next to those tab books that teach assholes how to play Wonderwall

Most of them are pretty well done but the main riff and intro for Shortest Straw in all tabs is FUBAR
A lot of the Justice tabs I found were verbatim from the book, some of the more famous songs have community created tabs which are much better, but shortest Straw is one of the less famous track so that's probably why

When I read this, I can't help but completely agree. I mean, they even managed to screw up Harverster of Sorrow's clean intro. What the crap.
I haven't seen the DM tab book, but I remember reading the AJFA tab book in a music shop and literally "oh wow"-ing at even the intro to Blackened
DM tab book is allright, they pretty much nailed the songs.
Black album tab book is meh, Unforgiven is very messed in some parts. The RTL book I have seems pretty good from what I've read
Learning the chords for Unforgiven and Fade to Black The Chorus for Unforgiven uses the same Chords as Fade to Black (Am C G Em) Assuming both tabs (IDK what else to call them) are correct.
Tab books suck. Just use Guitar Pro 5
Tab books suck. Just use Guitar Pro 5
Using online sources. I'm too poor to afford books! :v:

Blackened (from the tab book): e|---------------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------------------------| G|-------------------------3-------------------------------------| D|-x-2-x-2-x-2-3-2-x-2-x-2---2-x-2-x-2-x-2-3-2-2-----------------| A|---------------------------------------------------------3-4-5-| E|-------------------------------------------------2-3--4--------|
Are you fucking kidding me?
Gonna bring this up again since we're talking about the tab books again.
