Sometimes I even forget that the drummer for Metallica is Lars Ulrich. Usually drummers are renowned and you see tonnes of YouTube videos and statements praising their work which helps me remember them, like "Nick Menza is a fucking awesome drummer" and "Dave Lombardo shits on any other drummer", but when it comes to Lars, it's like "oh right, he plays the drums."
Last Sunday I played Motorbreath on an acoustic guitar owned by my bro.
Some 10 minutes later after that, I watched some home videos from 2001 with my bros, and one of the vids, my bro played the exact same song on the exact same guitar.
Best co-incidence in my life.

Yeah, I mean the least they could do is to point out how completely average he is at it. Like "Lars Ulrich is great at being an average drummer." or "Lars Ulrich could beat anyone any day when it comes to drumming averagly."

Was that a pun of words or did you just misspell it?

I'm just insecure about how it's spelled.
Ah.
It's "coincidence". No hyphens.
Anyways, what's the deal with the Metallica tab books?

They're pretty much correct except blackened

This, this, this, this.
they're pretty much not worthy buying at all because all of the tabs from those books have been taken note for note and been put in guitar pro files (which can be opened legally and for free using tuxguitar if you don't have guitar pro, thank you very much)

something about st anger appeals to me. it was a chill album
How is that chill?
If only the snare sound was better...
If only the bass was more noticeable... wait Justice is still good
How is that chill?
chill as in cool, dawg homie
If only the snare sound was better...
If only the drums in general were decent.
if only it wasn't a shitty album whoops
If only you guys stop if onlying.
My favorite song off Beyond Magnetic is "Just A Bullet Away".
What about you guys?
just a bullet away is shine isn't it
hell and back is also really really good x1000
but yeah just a bullet away is best. tbh the only song i don't find amazing is rebel of babylon. it's okay, but in contrast to the others it just fades.
Rebel of Babylon, actually.
Just A Bullet Away isn't bad either.
"SUCK ON THE BARREL SUCK ON THE BARREL SUCK IT UNTIL IT'S DRY!"
It's probably my favorite of the album. But I'm really not a fan of how most of these songs just suddenly go into a clean part and then back.
so is rebel of babylon about jesus or what
Well nearly every metal album has 2 guitars, primarily left and right, then whenever there is a solo or some harmony section they'll add extra. Some albums, like The Black Album has left right and middle. Basically the more guitars going that are split make it sound thicker and richer, if they were all layered in to a single clip it would sound really muddy.
I thin I've read that MoP has 3 tracks on each side, one of which was just for the low e chugging. Assuming what I've read is correct. I think it's true.
Wouldn't surprise me if it was more to be honest. There are a few Smashing Pumpkins songs with 40 guitar tracks :v:
I like the EP, but do the song names have to be so shite?
Just a bullet away, hate train? I mean come on it's like they googled "metal names".
Good thing they're far from beeing the worst on that subject.

I have edited a version of JABA Where I have the clean part coming in as he finishes saying "Stop the voices in my head"
Sounds pretty nice IMO
I just got the best christmas present ever: A new title!
