because
- Thats insanly being a jerk
- Your gun will blow up
- You will spend more then a hundred dollars a skimirsh on repair parts and a backup stock of parts
- Waste 2 bags of bb's a game.
Ah I see.

Will add to OP.
- For the most part, the battery and bb's that come with your gun (if it did come with the gun) are crap. Don't use them.
General: When you are heavily outgunned and outmanned, there are a multitude of things you can do worse than retreating.
Real men don't retreat.
Real men climb a really tall tree and stay out of sight until the enemy is gone, then they ambush them from behind.

The battery my Echo 1 came with seems to be fine. So far.

Thats why I said "for the most part" the battery that came with my Kalash AKS-74un works well as a backup in case my other one dies. I haven't touched the batteries for my other guns and most high end guns (i.e. TM) don't come with batteries.
Keep the tips coming guys, I'm still adding them.
For the Noob: Buy at least 3 mags. (Guess where this came from)

Hi-Caps, right? I am mainly going for high caps. Like 420 rounds each I think. I have 2 so far.
Yeah, hi-caps 300+ each. Or get half a dozen mid-caps.
I see. Although my vest only has like 4 pouches for ammo. I'll have to find another way to stuff ammo on it.
Protip: Mag pouches make great holsters for pistols (especially Glocks)

Great tip, how coul I forget this one.
I used to use the one side of my quad AK mag pouch as a holster for my USP, worked fantastically.
Yeah I was playing at my local CQB arena a few hours ago and I was like derp I forgot my holster so I put it in my mag pouch and it was awesome.

Remember my ungodly large AEP? It also just fits into my mag pouch. My mags fit together anyway so I don't need them.
Sniper: If in doubt, RELOCATE. Be sure to take caution, so as not to be seen though. It's better to relocate if you think they've spotted you, then just wait it out, and end up getting flanked.
As a sniper, a you're great for psychological warfare. If your team mates are having a hard time hitting enemies behind cover, try to flank them slightly. If you can line a shot up and hit one from the side, the others might think the cover is no longer safe and retreat into an area where your teammates can hit them easier.
Practice with your rifle a lot. Try to get the general direction the bb will head in relation to your crosshair, in different conditions [windy, rainy, etc]
WATCH YOUR BB's. Try to use colors that are easy to see though your scope, as they fly. It will make it much easier to tell where they are going, and allow you to adjust accordingly.
COUNT YOUR BB's. As a sniper, you more than likely won't have a hi-cap mag. Be sure to know the amount the mag will hold, and how many you have fired. This will allow you to judge what you should do next, if worse comes to worse.
Have both eye's open when pulling the bolt back, on a bolt action.
Firing your sniper when your enemy begins firing theirs, can aid in masking the sound of yours.
When aiming at large groups of enemies, aim for someone in the middle of the group. This can help mask the direction they were shot from.
Don't go for every shot. Snipers are very valuable as econ, to see where the enemy is. Instead of shooting them, you can work with your teammates by telling them the location of the enemies, and setting up an ambush for them.
Great tips for the sniper, but if you are playing the sniper role, please wear the right clothing for the right field environment or it will be a lot easier to spot you. That should be obvious.
Oh yea, Don't start airsoft as a sniper. PLEASE!
I've had a friend who wanted to do just that. I told him that it's a stupid idea as a noob to start as a sniper since this isn't CoD and the physics are way different. Yes, pretty much all of my friends are CoD addicts.
I started off as a sniper in airsoft. Then again, as i've said many times, i went through a junior sniper training camp thing.
It's generally a good idea to start airsofting as just a rifleman with a AEG of some sort and find out how you play. If you like sneaking around and picking people off, try out playing the role as sniper.
Did Rifleman, Switched to sniper
Did CQB (Not what I consider rifleman because I used a 250fps MP5 at the time)
Then Rifleman (G36K, M4, SCAR, etc)
Then Sniper (BAR 10)
Then Rifleman
Then CQB (DE M1014 Shotgun / P226)
Now DM (SR25) and Rifleman (M15 URX)
I think I can say I've done it all, except Support. Even then I've used homemade box mags on my guns, so I guess I can say I've filled that role. Being a Rifleman is the best, you can do just about everything moderately well, but you're not great at any one thing.
Did rifleman, then support, then rifleman, then support, then dmr, then rifleman... I'm by far the most effective when playing as a rifleman but I got the most fun out of support. I don't play support cause I'm sick of going through 4k BBs a day and having to deal with so many internal problems.

And that would be? *cough* *cough*
Cod is not a bad thing if you can distort mindless run and gun with reality. Yet, my clan on LIVE does pretty well running with tactics.
