Huh, I do these to all the time when I'm bored in class and have for pretty much as long as I can remember. I never would have thought that these were actually a "thing" or knew pen spinning even existed. :v:
Is this how you pick up women?
Yeah when they see how good I am with an oblong object in my hands they fall for me.
planning to learn some tricks for my next exam season. once i finish my paper i will mesmerise other candidates with my master spinning skills.

ive been doing the sonic nonstop, i went to my friend who was doing the thumbaround and wanted to show off. he said no way, you cant do the sonic (lol its bloody easy, easier than TA)
so i tried with his pen and i mustve dropped it like 5 times before he walked away :(
i just tried to do a shadow and did it the first time, now i cant do it again

A shadow? First time? The fuck, it took me a month to learn the shadow
Learning Charge and Sonic now.
Woh. We're like, linked bro.
During French I was doing thumbarounds for fun and this girl wouldn't stop yelling at me.
I kept going though, of course. No bitches getting in the way of my spinning. :v:
Finding the Charge extremely difficult even though it looks so darn simple. Sucks bro.
I spin pens all the time just handling them to change writing positions or even to pick them up, but I can never do it consciously.
I always spin my pens or pencils when bored or thinking of something to write
I can do the fingerpass and thumbaround pretty well. I don't drop the pen anymore when I do them, at least.

I can't do the Charge.
I try, I try, oh how I try, but I can't do it.
I've always tried this but I end up failing in the middle of class and look like a giant retard XD

Want to pick up my pen?
After much struggle, I finally learnt the charge. I may not be good at it, but I can do it.
I used to be able to do an aerial stunt with my old cellphone where I would throw it closed up in the air and catch it open, ready to dial. I messed up once though, after hundreds of successful executions. I got distracted. That's why it's my old phone. That's also why I have a droid now, so I won't be tempted to do it again. But, this pen thing looks cool. Maybe I'll try it.
Back in the 6th grade or so I randomly picked up spinning a pen between all my fingers. I still do that while I'm bored in class.
This became a habit, whenever I'm sitting around holding a pen, you'll find me spinning it.
Or when I play starcraft, I'll be holding a pen in one hand doing the fingerpass.

You should, it's really fun learning new tricks and creating unique mods and combos.
I don't mean to advertise, but if you're serious about trying out Pen Spinning, I'd suggest UPSB.
The community is nice and helpful and hardly any trolls post which is rather cool.
Same goes for anyone else wanting to give it a try, and one key thing you need when Pen Spinning is perseverance, because with every new trick attempt comes rage.
I can almost do the fingerpass, but I'm thinking it might be because my pen is fucking heavy.

If you have some BIC round stics lying around you could do the BICtory mod. Very nice pen considering it's cheap as hell.

Funny how I managed to learn how to do sonic and finger pass very well, but cant for the life of me do a thumbaround.
Wasn't there a site that sold pens just for pen spinning?

Ahh, thanks. That was the one thing this thread was missing compared to the last one.
You don't need a special pen, I've been doing this with normal pens and pencils since 5th grade
