This thread is great. Id do this, but i kind of live in a really flat area. The closest hill worth climbing is probably an hours walk away. And its covered in trees so i wouldnt get any good pics. Plus it wont have any internet. What am i supposed to do then?

Those are some pretty neat pictures. I wish I coulda been there. I'm in North Carolina in the US and there are some pretty big mountains here.. I've never done anything like it though. Someday.

About 5 months ago I went to Mt. Rainier... It was more of a walk... The meadows were wonderful... Only took 7 hours. As opposed to the Lake Serene hike that took around 12. I'd post a picture of me holding up a tree but... I look like a tall leprechaun... [editline]9th January 2011[/editline] I have many more pictures but I can't find them.

That hike was fucking amazing, we are definitely going to finish it some day. i liked the method we came up with for tackling the super uphill part at the end before we had to head back, taking about 15 steps, falling on our faces to rest, then attempting another 15 steps. also those [b]fucking rocks[/b]. I slipped like five times on them, probably because i wasn't being very cautious at all haha, but it was fun as fuck. I also found a monster slug on the path, he was rad. The pictures i took are on my other hard drive, I'll try and get them at some point but it's probably gonna be awhile so yeah.

If you walked into a room that I was also in, I would be comforted by your presence. I imagined Postal as a squat and hairy man with a scruffy beard and thick eyebrows. But you are not.
