$5,100? That guy is high. I don't care if it's an AE86.
If that car was outside US, it would basicly be free for that price! (Also, i can afford it :D)
good luck finding parts for an 86
i have plenty of 86 parts...
i have plenty of 86 parts...
You don't live in the US though.
Took a pic of my skid missile last night, figured it would belong here; [T]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Dotabill2.jpg[/T]
$5,100? That guy is high. I don't care if it's an AE86.
You'd spend atleast double or more to get one that looks that good in Australia.
good luck finding parts for an 86
it's not as easy as finding parts for something like a 240SX or a Civic, but it's not really hard either.
plus boat loads of aftermarket shit are made for them.
My car wasn't "unreasonably" low but when I had it in summer mode I'd consider it fairly low IMGP3148 by SpencerSheckells, on Flickr Now its back raised above stock height with the damping on full soft for the winter. Comfort mode B)
Wow she's a beaut. [editline]15th January 2014[/editline]
They all look like they have really really small wheels. Especially the second one. I'm guessing that's a part of the style in this community?
13's and 14's are really common wheel sizes for boso / kaido racer cars, and typically you'll see smaller wheels on any cars (i.e. 15's and 16's on a 240sx). I honestly think it looks great. Small wheels are sexy as hell.
Those fucking rims. God they are cool.
Thanks! I fell in love with them when I first saw them. They're M-technica Turbos by Memoryfab, based off of X-1 Turbos, a super cool old wheel. Sadly they've gone on to a new owner in favor of a set of gold BBS RSes that I'm refinishing for my car for the upcoming warm months. Working on the new wheels and an engine build, along with some new suspension bits to hold it all together.
Wow those are indeed sick. Google images shows they don't look good on much else besides Euros.. but daaamn, do they look nice on Euros.

I might go rat-rod/shakotan on my S13. Once I reach it's look I might trade for an actual Datsun 240z or Cressy later
good luck finding parts for an 86
it's no civic but it's way easier than finding parts for a euro
I really wish I had a picture of this ridiculous A4 I saw last week. This is in Minnesota, mind you, where the snow gets to like half a foot before it's plowed several times a winter, and there are plenty of rough dirt roads. Fucking less than an inch off the ground. The funniest part was he lined up next to this person in a minivan at the stop light to race them (yeah you're cool, winning against a 1.4L FWD minivan) and then when the light turned green he was too busy texting his friends and the minivan went way past him. Of course to show how big his cock is he had to go WOT but still got stuck behind the minivan when it turned to one lane. It wasn't even just lowered, the retard had a bodykit that made it look like a 90s BMW, too. It wasn't that old, so it didn't look like that from the factory.
Guess I'll take this RIGHT over here since nobody liked it in the "Cars that look good to you" thread. Old Yugos(?) are cooler than a penguins bollocks, love it!
That's a 2003 model. ...Just saying.
I absolutely love boxy-ass car design.
I really want to lower my car, but sadly, my car has trouble getting out of my rigorous gravel hilly driveway as it is. I would have to park it out on the side and I don't like doing that. My roommates car first got totaled from a drunk driver slamming into it at 45. Then after he got a new car, a drunk guy punched it and dented it (Fixed it now) Bars are right up my road and it's funny watching drunk people stumble around, other times it blows.
That lil red rocket is tits.
