So wait, is this the ironic "Let's pretend stance is good and we like it" thread or do people seriously believe it looks good?
"My opinion is the correct opinion"
It's a style. It's not meant for performance or going fast, it's just a different niche. When done right, I think it looks great. Just like a car modified for performance can look awesome, or like crap.
My next project is a Datsun Z or a pickup Some are meant for performance being track machines that need that kind of suspension. Some are solely for cruising slowly. Some are meant to be just stationary show cars. It's a whole different culture.
I've always thought it would be so much fun to have a lowered/bagged(to normal car height) 2WD 80's Toyota Pickup with a JZ and some unsuspecting looking wide tires. Just something clean with the old flat style grill but tons of power on the rear wheels. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f9/Toyota_Pickup_.jpg[/t] [t]http://4x4.sr5.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/81pu-2.jpg[/t] Stuffing something awesome like a RB/SR/turbo L into a old Datsun truck would also be equally badass

But whoever thinks this shit looks good, no words:
I don't think anyone does, including the builder, because that's clearly not even finished. (It's finished later on in this thread, actually. It's weird, but the build quality looked pretty high)
I assume this is it finished: [t]http://s23.postimg.org/h0mj8k3mj/faggotry.jpg[/t] nope, still vomit-inducing
That's the point. It's the hater-mobile. The point is to build the most cringe-inducing style ever and he did it and he's happy. Believe it or not negative camber aids in handling and is an important element in suspension geometry. Ofcourse, like I said before, there are different styles in auto and they all serve their respective purposes.

Edit: Actually you probably saw it too
Believe it or not negative camber aids in handling and is an important element in suspension geometry.
That ridiculous amount of negative camber, with the rims sticking out of the tyres, that ride height and the fact that the suspension is not allowed to act or the wheel scrapes the fenders would make it useless in track situations, it is a car built with form above function.
Now try reading the rest of his post
I did, doesn't change the fact that that camber angle the Celica has would never bring any sort of handling benefit. Negative camber can have good effects on handling, of course. But there's a point where it becomes nonsense. I don't care that it's a special snowflake "FUCK THE HATERS :DDD" mobile.
pure performance isn't the only reason to modify a car.

I'm not really the biggest fan of Challengers but this one I've always had a sweet spot for.
Cannot stress enough how perfect that wheel choice and stance are for the Challenger, honestly would take an older challenger with that stance and wheel selection as well.
On the same boat, never really liked Challengers but wow that looks sweet. [t]http://image.superstreetonline.com/f/29028781/sstp_1006_09_o+1985_nissan_200_sx_turbo+rear_view.jpg[/t]

Those Hiyashi Streets @ 1:46 .. mm Anyone got any requests to see the next stupid thing I hang off my tow hook on my car? My panda bear fell off and the stuffed Oreo mascot I replaced him with disappeared, too.
