I mean other than the fact that he was driving without insurance (I'm pretty sure that's illegal), he should be able to get all his stuff back, and his car repaired. All he has to do is report it to the police, the police can ID the guy whose car it is. The person that hit him will be fucked for doing a hit & run, and Mr. Chi city can sue for damages/theft.

Dude this guy is an inspiration to me. No matter what happens to him, he's so happy. He's also really fucking nice.

He won his court case so he gave $35 to a girl who didn't have the money to pay her fee. Then, he gives $50 to a guy that had to pay $500 for his case. He then proceeds to pay for a group of random people's lunch. Thank you for showing me this guy, this man should be a role model on how a good person acts.

Driving without insurance is not illegal but you can get fined, get your car impounded, or get some serious marks on your files. It varies state to state.
