There definitely is a trend of women not being respected as artists as compared with the majority. Look at any top 50 list these days and you'll never find a female artist. I still believe they're a whole new world of personality as compared to the rest. They think different to us, and it scares me. :)

Well, girls seem more likely to like mainstream pop than boys do, because everything is pretty much marketed for teenage girls. :v: For every girl in for example the metal community, there is probably 10 guys.
