I like the front page stuff, but can't you already get something like that through plug ins without shelling out £70

When we're in the office I'm gonna hire a half decent web programmer and designer and try to make a forum that works like facebook.

Ajax like instead of having to go to separate pages to see things. Things like a bar along the bottom that notifies you if you're mentioned. It's something that'd need to be looked at to find the best way to do things. Like would there even be specific forums, or would you apply tags to your threads and people would check certain tags. etc.
