This question's probably been asked quite a few times by now, but where's a good place to get custom patches made?
Highly doubt any of the patch producers here will give out their manufacturers/suppliers so you'd probably need some inside connection for bulk patch production. You could take a look on Etsy, that's what I've used and suggested previously (but I've only ever done one-offs).
Is there a way to make iron patches into velcro?
I've been manually sewing velcro strips on, but you could also try this suggestion from the previous page: Perogi Palooka posted: Them being iron on isn't really an issue- go to your local hardware store and get some super adhesive velcro strips. I've had to do that to a few of my patches and they glued on velcro is still there after six months of use.
i took his advice and got some velcro tape and it's worked fine for me so far
I think I have a decent little collection growing https://puu.sh/zQWwP/d0ce713a82.jpg
Woah woah woah, where did you cop that lego adventures patch? And the TF2?
tf2 patch I have no idea. got it 8 or 9 years ago or so when I was in highschool. The adventures patch I got with a lego magazine or something when I was a little kid. its old.
Damn. Those are some fine patches you got there. @badgerhound Repro of the lego adventurers patch when?
I would bust a nut for a lego Rock Raiders patch
Oh and judging by your taste in patches you might like this one https://www.skinwalkersupplyco.com/collections/patches/products/national-parks-services-cryptozoology?variant=28034677126 He's currently sold out, but shoot him an email. He might have a couple in stock for resends, or would be willing to run it again if people showed interest.
add that to the list of years-old patches I'll never be able to find https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235680/8cbd7cde-0785-4e94-bd39-cdd806121e6e/image.png http://www.hrwiki.org/w/images/c/cd/Patches.PNG
New patch store, guy seems to have his own machine and is making 40k patches https://files.catbox.moe/78b06b.jpg https://files.catbox.moe/481mof.jpg I've already ordered some if you want to wait up to see how they actually come out. Although imo from the photos they seem a lot better than the usual "homemade" stuff on etsy.
you can't just say that and not post the link
He says he's open for comissions- depending on how these patches come in this might be our ticket for some fp patches. At least for the rest of us. Any rate I'm going to wait to see how these look.
Count me in if there's ever another run of FP patches
s/o to badgerhound for doing a yuru camp patch https://badgerhoundsupply.com/product/outdoor-activities-club-patch/ I will bring this with me to the top of Mt. Fuji
whoa. that's a good idea! I think Hyperborean (another seller) is going to do one, will see if I can get more info. Take pics. The Yuru Camp patch is live as seen above, I've also got a new Glow in the Dark patch featuring a friendly CIA agent as well. http://www.operatorchan.org/t/src/152227311248.png

So I still haven't gotten my Ai patches after about a month's waiting since getting the order shipped email. I emailed Ai on Sunday but still haven't heard from them. Not really sure what to make of this. My shipping address associated with the order is correct so I dunno...
same. I ordered two patches on Feb 27th and they still have not arrived. I live in the US so it should have only take 1-2 weeks.
Okay but how do you both have a kekistan-flag and a coexist patch? This confuses me greatly.
Eh, they both just kind of stumbled into my possession as gifts or trading, I try not to think about it too much
I think they're MIA. Might have had something come up, but I also haven't received my patches yet.
Huh, I ordered from PD on Feb 22nd, and got them today, but I was out of town for most of the month. Pretty sure they arrived weeks ago. [ https://i.imgur.com/onMx9i4.jpg?2
Well, got in the last patches I think I'll get this month: https://files.catbox.moe/4m6yr3.jpg Shout outs to 2hu, Apricot and Sync, Crimson Caravan, LibertyOrDeath, PK, random chinaman, and WGW,! Really happy with what came in this month. Yeah, those two chibi straps also came with velcro on them to use as patches, so they count. And an updated look at the patch wall I made a poor composite of in gimp: https://files.catbox.moe/9g9a03.jpg I think its too late to admit I have a problem.
https://i.imgur.com/88cHkgL.png Finally saved up enough paychecks to get a Canada Goose jacket!!
So obviously you can convert a regular patch to a velcro-backed one. But is there a way to get the velcro backing off of a patch if it's sold that way?
Yes, very carefully.
just peel it, it's what I've done for a lot of the patches I've bought.
