I mean, Max's friend, the female character with died hair does have a double standard where she's OK with guns, she just doesn't "trust men to have them", but that character is portrayed as having a lot of character flaws along those lines. The game isn't preachy in the least.

I didn't know people still used to word hipster but yeah the main character kinda likes old cameras and "retro stuff" but she's self aware about it.
The game is actually really great though.
It's got some awkward dialogue that's pretty much what a french developer thinks hip american teens talk like (naturally it's not at all accurate).
Game's actually really good though. Awkward dialogue aside, the story itself is interesting. The gameplay mechanic of rewinding works great with that style of game and opens up a lot of interesting scenarios and clever solutions. And they do a better job of making choices matter than Telltale ever did.
