Sorry. I didn't really substantiate my claims about Mephedrone being more fun. Mephedrone is really more like Cocaine. Hedonistic, selfish, meaningless, but fucking hell, it's hedonism to the maximum. MDMA is a more drawn out experience with more "push" and it has a very "honest" effect. This is why I believe it's a better drug to take. Hedonism is not a good thing to fall into. It's selfish, self-destructive and ultimately will cause psychological problems. If you're going for a night out and you have MDMA and Mephedrone, take the MDMA.[/QUOTE]

Wise decision. Coke users have been arguing it's more addictive. It's just so unbelievably euphoric the first time you want to chase that first rush, but you never can. It's the only drug I've ever considered myself addicted to. I still am addicted to it. It depresses me but the illegality means I'll have to deal with it soon anyway.

Highly unlikely to become a big street drug. It's too "empty". It'll probably cost gram for gram the same as coke, and let's be honest, coke is twice as potent, so it's unlikely to be a big thing.

Well, the average purity of street cocaine is 9%. It's about £50 for a gram so that makes it just over £500 per gram for pure cocaine.

If you've been smoking weed it's just the weed. Try and channel the chaos into serenity. If I have a strange riff playing in my head (which happens when I'm hella high) it tends to freak me out. To fix it I start playing the riff on the piano and then I feel fucking great again.

Right, we've had a similar scenario, but we were throwing a field party last year, with a nice system. As far as I am aware, they cannot confiscate the equipment without good cause. Some of these could be (obviously) stolen equipment, but the more, most likely one is faulty equipment. Make sure it's all had power supplies checked - amps for speakers, speaker cables aren't faulty, and if you are using a generator, make 100% sure that it has been tested and the test date hasn't expired. If the music exceeds the sound limit in your area, the police have the right to shut down the party if people complain, and/or if you don't have the legal rights to host a party in that warehouse.
If you want everything to run smoothly, make sure all your equipment is up to standard, test dates on cables/power supplies not expired, you have permission to use the venue, and the noise level doesn't exceed a stupid volume, and if there are neighbours near by then it's usually a good idea to forewarn them, and ask politely if they don't mind hearing loud music for one night.
