He describes the different effects unique to each hallucinogen in astounding detail, and even provides visual example with photoshopped pictures (even though no psychedelic visual can be rightfully explained or demonstrated outside the context of a psychedelic trip, the pictures still tend to do the real thing at least [I]some[/I] justice). So yeah. Read about various substances and learn cool shit about them. I find this blog really interested and follow it on a regular basis.

Well this thread is in need of a bump. Took a month off if dxm and did 300mg lastnight. [editline]15th December 2012[/editline] 20 gel caps induced vomit.

ive seen the sky rotate and create tracers from the stars, ive traveled through galaxies and seen incredible fractals and patterns on dxm. i experienced a complete slowing down of time, all ambient noises sounded like they were chopped up into pieces, becoming louder and louder like a siren. good times.

Was going to do 1200mg tonight but I have to settle for 600mg and a 5oz delsym.

How drastically would you guys say weed affects a DXM trip. I've only tripped three times and they were all complemented with a good quantity of bud about an hour and a half after consumption (Usually to kill the nausea and add chillness). I have a bottle of Walgreens brand syrup that I will down tonight (Roughly 350mg) but I will more than likely not be able to get any bud this time.

Would washing down a bottle of gelcaps with something acidic (orange juice or similar) make the capsule break down faster and/or destroy some of the DXM? Would a normal dose of DPH (25-75mg) taken with the dose help to prevent nausea/vomiting?

The times I got sick though was from moving around so much and not being able to focus my eyes on anything. Marijuana helps best and complements DXM very well ;)

DXM is also very nice at lower does for clubbing. if you cant get any molly then 20 coughgels or so will suffice (tried and tested).

Don't bother trying to pick up chicks though

Gonna try DXM out tonight, got myself some Robitussin Dry Cough Forte (the 200mL, 15mg/5mL one) My maths says I should get into the 3rd plateau if I chug the whole bottle. Is it a bad idea to try for that on my first go with it? I've only ever done alcohol, weed and shrooms (several times, mostly at mid to high doses afaik). I'd like to think I'm confident in my ability to keep cool under the influence. Really I'm far more interested in experiencing the dissociative effects than the general intoxication. Would that be a safe idea or should I stick to the second plateau until I've had more experience with it? first to second plateu are really great for a first time, though be careful with the dosing and find our how it effects you first or you might overshoot and go straight to the 3rd lol

are the mg/kg measurements for each given plateau accurate enough? I was just going to go for about 4.5-5mg/kg for this first time

i've never used them i learned just by taking a bottle or a half and increasing it by a bottle or a half each time or if gelcaps a whole bottle of 15mg and then increasing by a bottle or a half bottle of gelcaps etc

just because you don't use them doesn't mean its ok, its far more safer to calculate mg/kg because you will have more of an idea of how hard you will trip and its far more adjustable

Yea but when you give people advice just make sure you give them the most safe advice, even if it seems to safe to you it can save people from terrible experiences

Has anyone just had dxm not hit them? I took a 5oz bottle of delsym and only had slight pupil dialation and cough supression, DXM poly was the active ingredient, but I was told it hits you very similarly. :???: that was an expensive bottle of syrup too! :v:

It hits you less intensely but lasts longer I think

If you have a tolerance its very possible to only get a buzz off 5oz of delsym.

on friday, dosed out 170mg of dxm then drove around with my buddies up around town, blazed super fat, and then got lost in superstore for atleast a half hour looking at chips and drink. then another hour just eating the fuck out of wendy's i fucking love dxm, whats a safe time to take it agian?

Best DXM HBr medicine is SANOFI-AVENTIS Acodin, almost full of dxm without unnecessary substances and its cost about 1,5 euro for 450 mg tabs.

I've only done dxm 4-5 other times, once in the form of ccc hit a 1st my first time trying, after that i did some cvs tussin in a bottle of sprite and made a disgusting sugarpuke mentholy i gag thinking about it elixer... Which didnt really make me high either though it was 400mg of HBr then i took 500mg in tussin generic gelcaps which gave me my only real "trip" with shutter effect and heavy body disconnection and stonedness, but i ended up pissing out my ass robowalkin back and forth between the toilet and superjail Now delsym wont get me high and im really starting to think i just need some pcp or MXE or something
