The Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DXM) Thread! v2 - General

Hey guys can someone give me a short trip report of one of their trips? I was analysing my own trips recently and they're pretty weird since I never see bright colours and real visuals, everything's kind of forced and weird. I'd like to compare to somebody. 900mg for 70kg body weight, for example, gave me nothing but a dark-blue cloud on the ceiling that didn't even change

I weigh the same amount as you and never really get visuals but try this, listen to rainymood with all the lights off and lying in your bed with your eyes closed.

changing your set and setting might help. if you only ever trip inside, try tripping outside, or in a different room. try tripping in complete darkness, etc.

I would not recommend tripping outside on DXM on high doses

The one time I ventured outside on 600mg DXM It was really fucking foggy and the streetlamps made everything look weird and there was a party at the beach that was echoing through the valley, the whole scene was just too buzzy and I had to sit down on the steps of my deck.

I jumped off and ate shit on the landing.

Would I get an elevated heart rate from 234mg of DXM?

you might wanna edit into the OP that (like MDMA) DXM increases whatever mood you go into it with. (depressed, angry, happy, etc.)

I told myself it wasnt real but just to keep myself from freaking out i went back inside.

You're probably more receptive to the drug than I am and you got the same thing. The same night I also noticed that the lamp on my ceiling moved when I looked at it so I stopped looking in case it ended up out of the window.

That's neato but just because your mood changes when you take those drugs doesn't mean that everyone has the same effect.

i believe that's true for psychedelics, but drugs that give you a familiar, pleasant feeling, like opiates, benzos, etc., you shouldn't have to worry about it.

Like, your first time smoking weed was so foreign and intense because you had no idea what it was like, and subsequent times were never the same because you're used to it and more comfortable with being high.
