Climbing a Radio Tower - General

Meh, that doesn't look too scary, looks fun actually, I like climbing things.

It just keeps going! My legs would be like jelly by the time I reached the top. Fuck climbing back down though, I'd just bring a parachute with me.

I'd take a parachute or........ the longest fucking rope in the world so i could abseil down the fucker. I'd actually like to do this job its one of those for me where i'd definitely shit myself the first time round, but after that I'd be fine on a repeat I wonder what the requirements are for a job like this except the obvious no fear of heights and balls of steel!

I don't understand why they don't parachute back down. The only thing that would get in the way is the bag of tools but it's not like it's hard to get a parachute for that too.

Chutes are kind of heavy, would get in the way and make it harder to climb.

Climbing back down would make it worth it to bring a parachute, it would be harder to climb but climbing down is harder than up
