that nike logo seems really out of place
They look like Timberlands, which is probably why. They fit more like a sneaker though. Seem very comfortable and durable.

hello high fashion
I bought my Hanukkah gift finally, a very expensive, very durable pair of British footwear!
I am very glad I finally bought a pair, because its very wet and muddy where I live, and I look kinda punk in the process.
I feel that there are two pair of shoes you must own in your life, dr. martins, and birkenstocks.(funny, neither are shoes) BECAUSE they take about a month to break in, and will never wear out.
I have broad shoulders, suits are going to look boxy on me no matter what :v:
I have broad shoulders, suits are going to look boxy on me no matter what :v:
You can get them fitted. I'm pretty wide too, 250 lbs 5'11. Decent bodyfat for what I am. unless you keep expanding below your shoulders you should be able to get your suit fitted.
EDIT: Also, how do I get paint out of my jeans? What do?
Tees have always been awkward for me. If they're fitted I don't feel comfortable, so I'd usually go a size larger; yet they don't look the best on me because I have a skinnier frame. I essentially just changed to fitted button downs and haven't looked back. I might wear a tee shirt to bed but that's about it. I'm just much more comfortable in dress shirts and casual button downs.
Strange, I'm really skinny but t shirts look fine on me. I just make sure the collar is a lot more open which shows off my collar bones, yes I know that might sound a bit gay when you put it into text form, but it suits me well so it works out. Dress shirts and casual button downs are great too though.

I know what you mean, usually at a formal event I end up taking off my suit jacket after a while. I mean, I still get them tailored, but it still looks weird when you have broad shoulders, might be just me though.
If Ronnie Coleman managed to get a tailored suit I gurantee you guys would be able too, regardless of how much of a supervillian he looks like in it.

It's still tailored and manages not to make him look like some obese box. If it wasn't purple and shit it would look fine.
God damn, those shoulders. Also those trousers are baggy as hell.
noble lows look really nice, but they do fall apart pretty quick
I had a pair of shoes that got a hole in the bottom. They were 3 years old and $25. I'll probably be fine with these haha
I got a pair of vans that cost $65 and the trim is coming undone after 6 months. It depends on the shoe.
My shirt for my suit arrived from home as I didn't bring it with me overseas, now I can look snazzy again!

Haircut is in order though.

i had some, the bottom started peeling off in places after a couple months, and holes started forming after 9 months

Is that with regular every day use? I generally have like 3 pairs to choose from so they won't be worn all the time. I've had the low version of

for nearly 8 months and they're just dirty on the white bottom bit with a little bit of fray in the stitching. I don't go through shoes quickly, at least not as much as when I skated regularly.

Nice buy! I have a pair of black docs too, and they're really nice, buta bitch to break in. I've had mine and worn them from august and I still get really bad blisters from them.
Prepare yourself for pain. I would suggest getting those compeed blister bandaids and everything else that might make it easier to break them in.

yeah, but they were really my only pair of shoes
i was wearing them all day every day
if you have three pairs, they should last quite a bit longer for you

I got a pair of military boot socks and I'm ready to rumble.
After a full day of walking around in San Fransisco in them and no blisters, I'm going to guess I have tough feet.

I say get rid of the goatee, it's like you're trying to look like a middle aged man. If you really do like facial hair and can manage it then go for the light 5 o'clock shadow. If done right it can really make you look mature and handsome. Though, that highly depends on how uniform your hair grows. If you have patchy facial hair then it won't look very good.
i guess i'm getting a pair of puma suede classics tomorrow
good choice y/n
I find them average, nothing special but its simple so you cant go wrong with that. And since the name is so close to the name of the MILF pornstar Puma Swede, you REALLY cant go wrong with that

I'd also recommend some leather conditioner. It will soften up the leather a bit, making things easier on your feet.
Also 'Notlabbet' it's Dr.Martens, rather than Martin.

i think i can definitely go wrong with puma swede, she's p. ugly
anyway, simple is exactly what i was shooting for. a pair of shoes that go with just about everything i own are probably going to work out well. hopefully the fit isn't too weird, i've tried a pair on and they felt a bit narrow so i ordered a 1/2 size up
Do you guys think I would be able to pull off/get away with these?
[t]http://www.airsoftreenactorsgroup.com/jungle_boots.jpg[/t]
They're Vietnam-era US issue jungle boots. I don't have anything else to trudge around in the snow and slush with, but I don't want to wear them if they're going to look completely ridiculous. The pair that I have is more distressed and weathered which I think makes them look better but I'm still not sure if I can wear them without looking like some paramilitary weirdo.
I went clothes shopping yesterday.
My haul:
Two buttondowns from Guess for $60 altogether
Two pairs of Forever 21 jeans for $28!!
Couple tees from Urban Outfitters (christ they're pricey)
Those ear warmers with headphones in them (headphones are surprisingly not shitty)
I really wanted to get some sweaters, but every one I saw that I liked either didn't have my size or only existed on the mannequin
I always thought Zara was a tiny bit pricey, but wow I didn't expect Urban Outfitters to be more expensive.

I would if I wasn't at work, but I can at least link the shit I got.
UO tees:
http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=24745549
The other tee I got doesn't have a photo on its store page, but it's a dark gray with a whale spouting a bunch of colors on it.
Guess stuff:

This, in the red color.
And this:

I know someone's gonna give me shit about that, but it's much less shitty looking in person
Can't be assed to find the specific jeans on Forever 21's website, but they're your standard dark indigo skinny jean with a bit of whiskering and a black skinny jean, since my old black pair was so washed out that it was more gray than anything else.

These things are great. All I wear are skate shoes, and they perform wayyyy better than vans. Good for casual wear too. they also look best tied over the tongue, and laced up to the third ring. Make sure the 'ears' of the knot are equal and as long as possible. And if you get the black & white pair, put the white laces it comes with in them.
