These things are great. All I wear are skate shoes, and they perform wayyyy better than vans. Good for casual wear too. they also look best tied over the tongue, and laced up to the third ring. Make sure the 'ears' of the knot are equal and as long as possible. And if you get the black & white pair, put the white laces it comes with in them.
Wow, that's... awfully specific. I don't really get the idea of tying under the tongue anyway since it's uncomfortable as hell, and I usually just make the excess lace and loops in my shoelace knots about the same length. I totally agree with the white laces though, they usually look better on mainly black sneakers.
This in sneaker form
Needs swag rating
http://www.adidas.com/us/product/mens-originals-adi-ar-d1-low/SO565?cid=G56003&breadcrumb=svZu2Z1z13ybj are these um...fashionable?
i wouldn't say they're fashionable, but they're not bad
I'd wear them
then white pants and a black leather jacket would be how a swag douchebag would wear it i imagine
Any of you tried something like this? http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/latticelacing.htm Probably going to see how it looks with a pair of these: http://www.riverisland.com/men/shoes--boots/high-tops/Red-contrast-panel-strap-high-tops-266735
i used to have that in a pair of kicks, and the checkered ones in some nike sb's. They worked well, specially on the nike sb's because its the same theme: juvenile clothing. I wouldnt try that on those shoes though, I feel it ruins it a bit, takes the seriousness off but then again, I might be wrong, you have to try it yourself
Are briefcases still fashionable at all? I picked up this one for £110 and I love it, but I don't want to look like a dick by carrying it around. if you're in an environment that's conducive to carrying a briefcase around then sure whatever floats your boat if you're still in school you're just gonna look like a choad
if you're in an environment that's conducive to carrying a briefcase around then sure whatever floats your boat if you're still in school you're just gonna look like a choad
college, and my class tend to be a bunch of people who wear suits constantly
Post a pic with you holding it so we can see what you look like with it.
'briefcase wanker'
How should people dress once they're past the graphic tees stage
dress-casual
Are briefcases still fashionable at all? I picked up this one for £110 and I love it, but I don't want to look like a dick by carrying it around.
As a college student I would more or less recommend satchels and such. Briefcases have sort of gone by the wayside in the business world. Most people carry leather satchels and such because it allows for hands free carry and it suits the modern fashion.
Is it wrong as a guy to contemplate buying these? [img_thumb]http://img-1.fruugo.com/product/2/35/4509352_max.jpg[/img_thumb]
How should people dress once they're past the graphic tees stage
As djshox said, it's more or less dress-casual with variations depending on your situation. In your 20's you should be wearing more button down shirts/other casual attire and clothing that fits you in a way that it shows you're mature and capable adult.

It's still a nice brief though.
