No they aren't, that's exactly what I'm trying to say. If you tried to skate them they would fall apart in about an hour. To prove my point further, on the Vans website, the authentics are not in the skate category. I didn't say it's not a skate company, I said most of their shoes aren't skate shoes, such as authentics.
Authentics are canvas shoes. I tried some nice vans off the wall vulcanized canvas shoes ($55) at Pacsun but they didnt have my size in the store or online and now I can't find them anymore :(

Yeah, the shoes section hasn't gotten much love yet. I've actually put more work in to getting product for the women's stuff too because that's more my target audience. I'd definitely love some brand suggestions though :)
