Its not that I don't like them, because I dont dislike them, theres just nothing special about them. So yeah could be better

That was the point, I wanted a normal shoe that I could wear with a lot of stuff before getting more interesting pairs. So I guess your response means I was successful?
Well, you do see it optimistically. But I dont think its as versatile as some other shoes are, so I guess youd be better off with some other shoes. I dont really like them all that much, but its not something that would actually bother me if I saw someone wearing them.

Do you skate?
Do you skate?
90% of people in this thread own a pair of vans (which are skating shoes), you don't have to skate to have some pretty fucking awesome shoes (besides those ones)

It was just a question, and those are rather skatey shoes.

Oh shit that was the joke. I'm dumb
When wearing this coat, I quite often leave that top button undone; this leaves quite a bit of the shirt I'm wearing underneath visible. What would you suggest goes well with it?
Bought a blazer. I'd say it's fairly formal, but I've managed to pull it off as smart casual I think.

Blazer itself is good, but it looks to be big for you, too long for you and seemingly the sleeves are too long for you as well.
Hi! I got a new winter coat recently and i am wondering if it looks good. It's warm and comfy and it also covers my butt so i don't get an asscrack full of snow as i walk to school everyday.

shoes arent a big deal
they are in that you cant wear some garbage walmart sneakers or ugly-ass sperg sneakers but as long as they aren't gaudy colored then nobody cares if you have vans or sperrys or whatever
some outfits wont work with those shoes but grey canvas vans work well with most so idc

Leggings for when you are expecting a baby
vans keep breaking on me
vans alternatives go
pretty much every shoe shop in the world sells something that looks exactly like vans. if the build quality of vans isn't up to scratch for you but you like the style then just browse around and i'm sure you'll fine something
as an aside though i've never really heard of anyone's vans that have 'broken'
I've had Vans's vulcanized soles peeling off though

but looking is effort :(
my vans always have the edges peeling off and the inside of the shoe gets really worn
a pair usually last me around 8 months most
i have a pair of fake vans. They sturdy, but my feet start hurting after a day of walking around

ive had my vans for a year and the only thing wrong with them is the sole has started to wear down on my right shoe from braking on my longboard. they're worn and have 'battle scars' but i think that canvas shoes that are worn down have more character than new shoes
for jordans and high tops though they need to stay fresh. i want to buy a pair of high tops but i think that would push me too far into skater punk territory and also they are expensive and hard to take care of

i clean all my high tops with baby wipes on the midsole and a suede brush on the upper parts. you don't need to buy expensive cleaning shits. if you really get bad stains on that white rubber buy a mr clean magic eraser.
im also incredibly irresponsible and get dirty/hurt myself often
