Should work then, model it when you get it.
Keep a earthtone / black primary palette when you wear it.
What is the deal with not wearing socks with shoes? Or if you are, they must be so short that you can't see them.
I wear socks that are too short to be seen with sneakers or low-tops. Just so that my bare foot isn't mucking the inside of the shoe up too much. If you don't wear socks, your shoes start to stink. Bad. I have a friend that needs the no-show socks. Badly.
What is the deal with not wearing socks with shoes? Or if you are, they must be so short that you can't see them.
Well I think most people would agree that visible socks just look bad, and a lot of recent fashion includes rolling the cuffs of say chinos and leaving some ankle showing with low top shoes. Also applies if you wear shorts, which is a necessity if you live somewhere hot.
So ankle socks facilitate those looks plus as Lizurd says it's a lot more comfortable/better than wearing no socks with shoes. If there's direct friction between your feet and your shoes as you walk around your feet get sweaty in minutes
What do you guys think of this jacket?

Well I don't think I'd ever wear no socks with shoes, but I guess it's just a trend I don't get.

get a dark colored blazer and some non-graphic tees!
Since this is the closest thing I can find to a fashion thread on facepunch, can anyone help me with naming a haircut style? I already made a thread about it before remembering this thread exists.
take the picture to the barber
:v: the closest thing
And yeah his hair is completely nondescript, taking the picture with you and going to someone who is good at cutting hair is the best thing you can do

Is rolling up the sleeves on a blazer a cool thing to do? I've never seen it outside of movies from the 80s.

That's actually perfectly fine.
blazer over a shirt is absolutely fine, stop limiting yourself in every way you can.
especially with the sleeves done up like that it looks great and casual.
especially when a blazer has a pattern like that i would wear a plain shirt under it because it becomes very busy like this. I really like the blazer though.

looks like a decent casual shirt to me, y/n?

*on most people.
no
on everyone
[editline]22nd January 2013[/editline]
to effectively dress down a blazer, you have to have a combination of casual and semi-formal clothing, ie a button-up shirt and a blazer, but with jeans
if you're just wearing casual clothing and a blazer (t-shirt, jeans, casual shoes, and out of nowhere a blazer) you'll look ridiculous
it looks fine wow,

you people just love arbitrary rules.
nope looks bad
except those are pretty fashionable guys and dressing up t-shirts with blazers is tried and true, very basic and not risky at all.

They all also happen to be handsome people.
Just about anything looks good on someone attractive unless it's the stupidest possible thing.
